> 3 dayI love my Doxie Pro! I have to admit I was not really expecting it to change my life when I ordered it. I was dissatisfied with my existing scanner being very slow, and thought it would be helpful to have a faster scanner. I let it sit in its box for a couple weeks without even setting it up. Then one day when panicking about how I was going to manage to sort through all of the old family papers I had been burdened with when my mother died, I remembered the Doxie Pro. I am at a point in my life where I am determined to get rid of clutter and establish serene, functional living spaces and workspaces in my home. It has been very overwhelming living with not only my own documents Ive kept over the years, but also documents, journals, creative writing, art., etc. by numerous relatives who have either passed away or do not have a place to store them. Once I hit upon the idea of scanning everything I could with the Doxie Pro and throwing away the original papers, I felt a tremendous sense of relief. It was the solution to an important problem that had been gnawing at me for months. Setting up the Doxie Pro was very easy. The software installed quickly and was intuitive to use. There is a short tutorial that explains everything you need to know. You can scan a set of documents (up to 20 pages) into a pdf very quickly. There is also a separate tray where you can load irregular items such as photos one at a time. You just need to make sure the papers are straight and dont have staples, glitter, glue, etc. The quality of the resulting scans are very good, and its simple to upload them to your cloud storage. I would recommend the Doxie Pro to anyone who is interested in going paper-free, anyone who is the administrator for the estate of a deceased person, and anyone who currently shares living space with paper documents that feel numerous or burdensome to keep.

> 3 dayThis is our third Doxie scanner; all are still in the family and working well. Setup is very simple, with online assistance and a quick-reference card for getting started. The automatic document feeder is a nice addition, and the software “staples” a pile of scanned documents automatically, and you can unstaple them, rearrange the order, remove unwanted scans, etc. This model only works when connected to a computer. I consider that a feature. It scans directly to the Doxie app. It was a nice touch to have cables included for old-style USB and USB-C.

> 3 dayRunning a small mowing business in the summer time with a lot of receipts. My wife and I also manage two rental properties. One of the rental properties just got a remodel and there were a lot of receipts. The doxie scanner made turning all those receipt into digital very easy. The software is very simple to learn. This scanner is very fast scans both sides at once in seconds. I have not use tech support so I did not leave a rating for that.

> 3 dayOne of my resolutions is to finish decluttering my home office while increasing my security, and the Doxie Pro is turning out to be the perfect tool for the job! Works -outstandingly well- with a Mac (the software honestly feels like its from Apple - its fully integrated into the operating system and just works). Im migrating from an old ScanSnap that was scanning to the cloud, and this scanner works as well (if not better) for significantly less. I can easily move it between my Mac mini at my desk, to my MacBook Pro at the kitchen table, which makes it much more convenient. Does a much better job at providing options (unstaple / staple multiple page scans is fantastic!) and now Im scanning into a secure shared database (DevonThink 3) than unsecured into a 3rd party cloud service. The Doxie also does a great job with pictures (better than the ScanSnap and approaching or exceeding my old flatbed scanner - which I virtually never use because it takes up too much desk space). The Doxie customer care team is proactive to communicate with the customer to make sure that theyre not having problems using the device - I felt much more like an individual customer. Im absolutely enjoying my purchase, and looking forward to finally getting rid of the rest of the piles of documents for the new year (and keeping them from building up again!).

> 3 dayIve been moving from working at home back into my real office. I didnt want to dismantle my home office so I bought this little device. All the wires for all the new devices were in a big pile and I got them all mixed up. My Doxie was dead to the world because I couldnt find the right cord. I sent Doxie an email and the next day they wrote back saying they would send me a new cord. In the meantime I found the right cord and the scanner worked great. I have bought several big scanners (Brother, Epson, Fujitzu) for the people in my law office so I was skeptical about this little machine. But it works great-especially now that its getting electricity!

> 3 dayThis is my 4th Doxie scanner. I had their first, which was good; their second was better, when it’s battery died they replaced it free (out of warranty). I’ve been using a Doxie Q for a few years, and I liked it, but it was a bit of a hassle to take it out, frequently charge it because I hadn’t used it in a couple of weeks, connect it to Wi-Fi scan, then put it away. The Doxie Pro is the first that is a desktop scanner rather than a portable. It’s only slightly larger than the Doxie Q battery portable, and has truly amazing features. As a start, it contains double scanning hardware, so it scans top and bottom of each page at the same time. And is smart enough to discard blank page backs when scanning single-sided sheets. Holds 20 sheets. is FAST. Has 3 resolution levels, including Automatic, which figures out the best given the complexity of the image (there is a speed vs resolution trade-off). Paper handling is outstanding. It has a manual feed slot for scanning odd sizes, such as a driver’s license, and does an excellent job at that task (remember, both sides at once). I had a problem connecting to my MacBook initially; tech support was highly responsive and worked with me to resolve the problem, and had it working the same day.

> 3 daySo far they use the ease, and the ability of the scanner has been very great. I would highly recommend it.
