After going online I researched and found the standard and narrow nipples are basically the same. Sent the first set back, before my research, because of that discrepancy in the item description. After giving to my daughter-in-law she said she couldnt tell the difference so she kept them. The nipples were a good price.

Best deal i found online and in any store. I need some more and will definitely purchase again.

We have loved Dr. Browns bottles. We have used them since she was two months old to help relieve colic. She still uses them and we have gone to the Level 2 nipple. They do take more time to wash, but they are easy to assemble and use.

My baby loves Dr. Brown bottles and the nipple flow is a little better for him than others. He is a bit ahead (used 3 mo when 2 mo) but other than that no complaints!

We had Dr.Browns bottles with the size one nipple and my babies were not getting anything from it because we add rice to thicken as per our doctor. I bought two size 3 at the store and they were getting way too much so I figured size 2 had to be a good middle ground. NOPE. Size 2 is the exact same as size 1 and my babies are once again not getting any milk from it, so now I have to reorder with size 3. If you are thickening milk for your baby just go straight to size 3. Ridiculous that there is no difference between 1 and 2.

I have been a really big fan of Dr.Browns but I only just realized that these are the newer nipples and they do not work as well with older bottles. My older bottles(at least 4mo. old) leak with these new nipples. However the new convertible bottles work great with them.
