> 24 hourI messed up the treads on my pvc pipe coming from my sprinkler zone. This tap saved me a lot of work digging a big hole to fix pvc pipe. I’m a noob and ordered the set because I didn’t know I only needed the 1/2 tap. So all in all I’m happy. Worked great tapping a pvc pipe, It only took 16 hours to get this at my doorstep from Amazon!

> 24 hourThese are very soft, maybe good for some plastics or low grade aluminum but definitely not meant for steel of any kind. One use, didnt cut threads, rather, the material took the teeth off of the tap. Definitely not what you want for a tap. Maybe I selected the non heat treated option? Kidding. Steer clear of this set, not worth buying.

> 24 hourused this to chase the threads in a water heater. the next day there were spots of rust where I let the water sit too long I suppose. probably should oil these after every wet use.
