The brushes, delivered today, themselves are like velvet. Super lux! However, one of the selling points for me was the wooden handles. I received the newer set (according to the description) and these handles are most definitely plastic - which is the reason for the 4 stars.

These brushes really hold powder mineral make up. I have yet to test liquid makeup but do not use it nearly at all. I have had the same set of brushes for 7 years and finally have retired them for this set and am impressed at the application and softness of the brushes. I was nervous that some of the eyeshadow brushes were too large but lo and behold they are actually the right size for their specific jobs. Im very happy with this set and will have to remind myself to use less make up as it covers much better than my older set.

There is a wide array of styles and it comes with a handy case that turns into a standing brush holder. Could not ask for more!

The moment I opened the customized cardboard box containing the DUCARE Makeup Brush Set, I absolutely ❤️ the entire set. First, the case holding the 22 pieces was exquisitely made with a durable, but soft faux leather material with reinforced stitching and a heavy-duty zipper that closed the case. Secondly, each brush was: • Enclosed in a plastic cover; • Brush heads were wrapped in a protective netting, and; • Each wooden handle was assembled with an aluminum ferrule and were marked with an individual number that communicated the use for each brush. The not-so-font-friendly user’s manual illustrations and text, the instructional diagram on the back of the customized box and the video on Amazon’s description page, described the intended use for each brush. Thirdly, the cleaver vertical fold of the DUCARE’s case permitted visual view and physical access to each brush without interference from the other brushes stored in the case. Once vertical, the case had snaps that maintained the vertical positioning of the case. And finally, the DUCARE’s bristles felt soft and gentle on my skin and no excessive shedding of the bristles occurred. I don’t believe I will have to buy anymore brushes for a long while, because this set has every brush I will ever use and more, appeared long-lasting and should withstand a lot of use. Shipping of the DUCARE Makeup Brush Set was as anticipated.

I have been so impressed. I have always used Mac brushes and since I received this set I have not used my Mac brushes.

I love this brand. Its such an amazing brand. The quality is there and the price is fair. Its going to end up becoming more popular and the price could go up. Because theyre awesome makeup brushes.

This is a great set, I mean lots and lots of brushes and of very decent quality. Although they are made of wood, they are not as heavy as I expected. The brushes are well-made and made of natural materials. They are soft and comfortable to use.
