> 3 dayThe picture doesnt really show how this bag works in reality. It suggests rolling the top 3 times then clipping the straps on the sides and over the top for good rain protection. Be aware that there is no seal for this bag, no zipper, no magnetic clamp--- it is wholly depended on rolling the top then using 4 clips (2 on the ends, 2 on top) to hold the top opening in a rolled position. The top has two strips of metal embedded in the seam that are semi-stiff and come together (though not in a seal) to allow for rolling the top. this also means that if you dont have a full load in the bag, there is really no way to ensure there really is a good-enough seal by rolling the top several times. I wouldnt allow this bag to submerge or let it into the open water and expect the contents to stay dry, though for every day rain or even downpour I think itll be fine. I may be wrong about this, but once the top has been rolled 3 times, I question that there is actually 40L volume inside.

Greater than one weekDefinitely waterproof! We strap these to the back of our motorcycle and have never had a problem with the contents getting wet. Weve had our first one for over two years, its been across Alaska twice and Baja, and has held up great. We love it to much we ordered another as a gift.

> 3 dayThis bag provides convenient, weather resistant protection for as much clothing/gear as one would ever want to carry in a shoulder/hand bag. Much easier to load and carry than the traditional cylindrical dry bag. And it does all this at a very reasonable price compared to what youd spend on similar bags from North Face, Patagonia or LL Bean. The trade-off is in the materials. I own one of those more expensive bags and it feels a full step more rugged and durable. However, since Im not planning on taking this bag on anywhere it is likely to get manhandled I do not have any concerns. It does the job I need it to at a fraction of the cost of the expedition gear. Very nice to have such a good option at this price point.

> 3 dayThis bag works well as a waterproof bag, but lacks the conveniences of other duffle bags - interior and exterior organization pockets. That makes it difficult to find items quickly or to keep your items organized.

> 3 dayUsing this for my ditching bag on my boat. Plenty of room for safety essentials that I won’t go boating without. Straps and buckles are strong. Waterproof, but I wouldn’t dunk it on purpose. Shopped many websites and stores for something that is waterproof, large enough, but they were $100 or more. This fits my needs well. The only thing I would prefer to add is a padded exterior bottom where it gets more worn.

> 3 dayThis soft bag is just what I was looking for to carry on my motorcycle trips. The D rings make it very easy to secure to the motorcycle, and the materials are high quality and not too thick. I expect this duffel to last a very long time. It hasnt been through rain yet, but I dont see any way for water to penetrate to the inside. Great product at a very reasonable price. I am glad I found it! Keep up the good work. GB

> 3 dayDuffel seams to be well made. I purchased the smaller bag and it’s still large enough to hold all my gear. I love that I can open the bag and easily locate the item I need. Only 4 stars at this time because I’ve not taken it on the river yet!
