I love this game! I bought the original game, the monster madness expansion, and this 2 deck expansion. This expansion is still playable just by itself and is a great way to get acclimated to playing with more people if you get it solo. It is a fun two player game, but you can play with up to 6 with the main set, and up to 12 with both other sets. It is not as exciting with only 2 players, however these are two of the most exciting decks in the game! I really like the Druid, but it can be a little complicated to play because you need to switch between bear and wolf mode. That being said, it is my favorite deck out of the main 6 to play with! My original favorite decks were the Barbarian and Rogue, but after I started playing this deck it switched to Druid and Paladin. Even if you don’t understand what I’m saying because you never have played dungeons and dragons before, I still recommend the game to all people who love fantasy or RPGs or TCGs. Even if you don’t like those that much I have gotten some of my family, including my aunt and grandma who hate learning new games to play with me and understand perfectly on the first play through! If you buy this alone it is fun to learn, but if you buy it with the other sets it can be a blast to teach to all of your friends and family at holiday parties or just all around get togethers. I 100% recommend getting this, however I would also recommend getting the main set with it. I would say for the price it is definitely worth the money if you just want to play with a single loved one and not worry about the decks! Have a great new year and definitely get this for your nerdy loved one!

I bought this for my free period and to play with my Friends at school it is awesome cause one of my friends own the main game. The only problem is that there a little strong like ranger has a Uno seven ability with health and a steal everyones top card from their deck and we sometimes play all 6 at once so we had to limit it to 3 cards and Barbs whirling axes to a Max of 3 damage and 3 health. We also do a boss mode which is all the decks vs a magic deck its weird but it works my friend made it work and I love it .To sum it up we play this every day we also have Nicknames for about every ability and we want another expansion

One has to have played the old Baldurs Gate computer game to know why its awesome to have a Minsc deck for Dungeon Mayhem, and why it was absolutely mandatory that his highest damage card be called GO FOR THE EYES, BOO! But anyone can enjoy playing these two add-on characters for the game: Jaheira, the shape-shifting druid, and Minsc, the slightly addled ranger, both from Baldurs Gate. Minsc, other than the nostalgic humor of his cards with their obligatory references to his beloved hamster, Boo, is a pretty basic mix of attacks, heals and shields, with the added ability of forcing everyone to swap hit point totals. Jaheira, on the other hand, introduces a whole new play style with the addition of two forms: bear (heals) and wolf (attacks). Jaheiras deck can leave you a bit stymied if none of your form cards come up early, in that you can find yourself with a handful of cards that would benefit from a shape you cant take yet, and therefore the bonus effects are wasted. But thats true of any deck building type game, where a bad draw is a bad draw, regardless of the details. In fact, my last time playing Minsc, I was forced to first burn three heal cards when I didnt have any damage, and then -- worse -- had to swap hitpoints with someone who had 6 HP while I was at full health, thanks to unfortunate timing of a lightning bolt card (forcing me to play the last card in my hand, which was the switch HP card). While fun, my kids have mostly gravitated back to the original four characters, as after about 10 games, none of us have managed to win with the new decks. That may be a matter of luck more than play balance, or even more likely in this game where you choose your target attack by attack, the players of these decks probably got targeted for early annihilation because the other players were worried about what the new powers might do.

There"s new heroes in town and they"re ready to throw down: fearless Ranger Minsc and his trusty sidekick, Boo, along with Jaheira, the smart and sassy druidic shapeshifter from Baldur"s Gate. These two new 28-card hero decks are included in this expansion for the Dungeon Mayhem card game.
