Dyson Quick-Release Motorhead Cleaner for Dyson V8 Vacuums

My old Dyson had a squeegee part on it vs the plastic part on this one which I feel tends to scratch my hardwood floors more. So not crazy about the change. It does ok on suction but gotta say it isn’t as great as I had hoped on the dog hair. I was hoping it would do better when I got a new Dyson Battery and motor head but no dice.

Great replacement! Made our vacuum seem like brand new again! I almost bought an entire new vacuum and I am so glad that I didnt because this worked great!

This powered cleaner head picks up dirt out of carpets that most others dont, include our older plug-in Dyson. Highly recommended.

Bought the V8 Fluffy and realized immediately it wouldnt work well on carpet/rugs. Had to call Dyson to verify this model would work with the Fluffy, the model numbers were not a perfect match but I took a chance and bought this motorhead. Now the Fluffy is perfect for carpets/rugs and hardwoods. Total cost for the V8 Fluffy plus this carpet motorhead was $500, which was definitely more than I wanted to spend, but now I have the total solution.

Its difficult to accept that this part is 25% the cost of a new vac. The vac is great but eventually this part will probably fail again, even with modest use.

This is a very good vacuum that gets all the dust and messes. The suction power is out of this world.

I was so excited this worked on my v10. My old brush head broke and I was not up for spending $700+ on a new Dyson. This worked perfect.

This is a good replacement part. Definitely beats having to replace the whole stick vacuum.
