Dyson V15 Detect Cordless Vacuum Cleaner

I have been wanting a cordless Dyson for YEARS, but it is a pricey purchase. My old previous current vacuum was starting to slow down (over 10 years), so I finally took the leap and bought the newest model (the V15) vs to older models. As I have not had the V11, I did hear that it is a little heavier but compared to the battery life and storage, this is definitely worth it. For reference, the vacuum is used in a large 2 bedroom with low carpet and some hardwood floors.

Possibly thee most well designed product I’ve ever owned. I can only repeat what has already been said. Expensive, yes, bur worth every penny! Simply remarkable.

This vacuum is perfect for people who never think their floors are clean enough. With a heavy shedding dog, it’s very satisfying to watch your hardwood become spotless. We had a central vac system put in to our new construction home and 2 years after using it, we decided to get this Dyson instead to avoid the annoying hose and outdated attachment pieces that come with the central vac system. This vacuum is much more powerful and convenient. Only downfall is the battery dies quickly so plan accordingly.

Love the suction. Did an amazing job on the one rig in our house. Wish there was better suction on the edges of the hardwood/ bare floor tool. I have to use a broom along furniture and appliances first. Laser light works great to see small particles etc. On floor. Would be great to have a flex hose for difficult to reach areas.

Dyson is the best vacuum cleaner. Easy to use and stores in cabinet nicely.

This is our second V series Dyson and fourth Dyson vacuum. This machine is amazing. Set it on auto and forget about it. Works fantastic and both carpet and hard wood floors. Battery life is exceptional and the laser light, which seems like a gimmick, actually is quite effective at showing you what is on a hard floor. Great machine.

I had a little canister vacuum that did the job. Nothing frilly… But getting it out of the closet, adding the appropriate attachments, and then schlepping the thing around the house as I pulled the cord behind me was SUCH A DRAG that just avoided vacuuming. Borrowed a neighbor’s Dyson cordless stick vac, though, and fell in love. Now I vacuum my small condo a couple times a week — and even zip it out when company is coming. It’s night and day. And the vacuum holds its charge is easy to empty and there are even a few third-party attachments that I have my eye on. Only complaint? The hipster tax. Why am I paying nearly a $1000 for some thoughtfully molded plastic? Lawd.
