I came across this gem on the prime movies--I only watched it to try and determine whether the main character was a girl or boy. Her face seemed overly photoshopped in the front cover so I had to see. That was a mistake, I only fast forwarded to try and get a decent view of her face but the quality was so bad that it seemed to be blurring her face out on purpose (and yes Ive decided its a woman because I looked her up on IMDB). Also the main actress seemed to realize how ugly her face was because she kept putting her freaking hair in her face. Like move it out of the way, people cant get stuff done in real life with hair in their eyes. The few parts I did watch the acting was so bad I was wondering how these people are paid actors/actresses. Like seriously? A sheep could do a better job than the three evil step-sister trio whatever they are. Especially the one troll sidekick who just repeated what the main mean girl said and didnt seem to know she was in a movie. I dont know why but I get the feeling shes dim-witted in real life. I was also surprised that this was made in 2010--the clothing made it seem like some trashy early 2000s movie. Overall, the movie sucked, the main character is in fact a girl, and so is her love-interest (or at least he dresses like one). Also the best friend was overly annoying and pushing.

Horrible acting. Terrible behavior for my children to sponge up. If I could give it zero stars, I would.

Cute movie. A little goofy and predictable, but our children enjoyed it.

My 5-yr-old girl watches it over & over! She loves the singing.

There was no swearing or violence - that part was great. I wish it was more traditional.

A cute chick flick. Sweet entertainment and very clean. An updated Cinderella story with no surprises.

Lame and written like a Saved by the Bell type of movie but not as good.
