Greater than one weekI have purchased quite a number of design books and as a Elle Decor subscriber, I had great expectations. I was rather disappointed with many rooms selected for the book among those featured in the magazine. Few of my most memorable were included. Good but had great expections.

Greater than one weekMediocre production....terrible paper like the magazine. Not very well put together...slapped together with, again, mediocre quality.

> 3 dayLovely content, but being the size of a magazine (or smaller), gives little pleasure in page turning and absorbing detail.

Greater than one weekI loved Elle Decors last book (So Chic). This one was less inspiring. I think the mix of homes here leans toward too masculine and also too esoteric. I am all for seeing visually inspiring rooms that may push past my own tastes, but So Chic did a better job of showing rooms that showed real inspiration and character but balanced with more approachable rooms, too. This book fell a little flat to me. And this is coming from someone who really loves Elle Decor magazine and the taste-level that the current and former editors both maintain(ed).
