> 24 hourMy 6 month old cat plays with this with such enthusiasm and it’s a hoot to watch her. She especially likes to carry it around, bop it and play with it on the stairs. It will keep her entertained for a half hour. That said, it is not safe, at least for her. She is fierce with her prey. When I play with her with anything on a string, once she gets it she pulls it to take it away, it’s hers, she got it, game over. With this toy, she will hold part down with a paw and stretch the rest of the coil using her teeth to pull. See the photo. The pink she had brought upstairs and I found it broken. The green I supervised to see what could have caused the break and you can see she had started to do the same as the coil is stretched. Honestly, I can’t say the plastic isn’t sturdy, if it had not been aggressively pulled it would have lasted. My cat loves it so I am doing supervised play and end when she starts pulling it. She seems to do that after awhile playing which may be because the fun factor decreases over time. Anyway, supervised it is so fun, but I would not leave a cat alone with it. Perhaps someone can make metal ones, I will be checking in box home stores if they might have safe metal springs.

> 24 hour2 year old Maia wont go anywhere without one in her mouth. Of course I had to tape cardboard to the base of the fridge & oven where she was shooting them like hockey pucks! She sleeps with them, eats with them, drinks water with them in her bowl...aside from a couple bending and breaking because I stepped on them in the dark, these are very durable & affordable!

> 24 hourThis was an inexpensive, colorful, fun toy for my two newly adopted kittens. They’d bat them around, and carry them in their mouth. Since my cats are quarantined with ringworm, I thought I could toss them in the dishwasher utensil holder to disinfect them. I didn’t realize they are plastic, and don’t hold up in the dishwasher. I must of overlooked that in the post, just saw HEAVY GAUGE. Great toys, but they don’t last if you put them in the dishwasher!

> 24 hourAdult cats bat them around occasionally, if that. Our Kittens on the other hand, are totally focused on them. They use both paws, bat them around the floor, under a chair, bed, no obstacle... This is the 2nd package I have bought just for our kittens, now 7 months old. These springs get lost, but these kittens seem to know where to find the lost springs.. Ideal kitten toy keeps them amused.

> 24 hourThe only toy my cat keeps going back to. He absolutely loves these springs. I taught him how to play fetch and now he wants to play all the time, especially at 11p at night when you are trying to sleep!
