> 3 dayIve had a few good vacuums over the years (Im 65) but probably didnt start using them with any experience until the early 70s. Ive owned Kirby, Hoover, Miele and my most favorite was/is my Rainbow Cleaning System. 6 years ago I moved into a tiny house and my Rainbow was just too big and cumbersome for 400 sq ft. I purchased a inexpensive Eureka Blaze and was surprised at how easy it was to use yet actually did an adequate, no frills job in picking up the dust/dirt/pet hair and debris from my 100% vinyl plank flooring home. After almost 3 years, it began to lose suction and I again started my research into a small vacuum that was inexpensive and easy to use in my small tiny house with all hard surface flooring. My search led me to EUREKA WHIRLWIND bagless canister vacuum. THIS THING SUCKS ... as in a phenomenal way for any size vacuum cleaner ... I was blown away at such a fantastic job it did at picking up everything! I do have a few small rugs that it did a very good job on but because of its superb suction, I had difficulty keeping them on the floor. I first cleaned all 400 sq ft ... even though it was recently done just 4 days prior with my Eureka Blaze. Wow ... it filled up the canister around 3/4 full of stuff! Like most people have mentioned ... the retractable cord is nice ... and I found for a tiny house a 16 ft cord was plenty big ... but something perhaps for others to consider. Im 6 ft tall and enjoy having the telescoping metal portion totally extended and LOVED how flat the vacuum head pivots almost flat to go under furniture, etc ... a huge plus! The built-on retractable brush/crevice tool is a good addition for all items at eye level or below ... but it is totally impossible to use the attachment on my blinds or ceiling fans unless I hold it up by the handle ... doable but not ideal. Since Im pretty tall and was limited by the attachments length/reach ... I bought one of the recommended inexpensive set of attachments (6 piece set) which included a totally necessary adapter in order to make the attachments function with the Eureka Whirlwind. I attached the adapter to the end of the metal telescoping wand and then all of the brush/crevice attachments fit right into the adapter ... the results were perfect! I was able to clean the upper part of higher windows and even my ceiling fan! For those reviews who said these inexpensive attachments do not fit ... my guess (???) is that they forgot to use the provided adapter. Truthfully, for the price ... even with adding on the cost of the adapter with attachments ... it did a really, REALLY great job ... LOVE IT! As far as who I believe would benefit from purchasing this vacuum cleaner ... definately those who have all or mostly all hard surface flooring. Also, I think that people who are on a budget and dont mind a canister style vacuum cleaner ... they, too will love this. For me ... for this tiny house with solid surface flooring ... it is almost perfect. What would have made it perfect? Well, if the adapter and attachments would have been provided ... then it would pretty much have been perfect!!!

> 3 dayI purchased this little canister vacuum so I can vacuum the carpets under our beds and get into small spaces that our upright cannot get too easily. I am not disappointed! It assembled easily. The owners guide is thorough. Emptying the dust cup is easy. The retractable cord is convenient. The suction is much more powerful than what I thought it would be. I am looking forward to using it to detail my car.

> 3 dayI cant find anything bad about it for the price! I wanted something for cat hair on wood floors. It sucks it right up and I can get under things like the couches! I only gave it four star because the head looks of lower quality, but it works great . If it had a beater bar the cat hair would build up on it? I have a Persian and she sheds a lot of hair! I dont know why I didnt look at these sooner! I only have a few scatter rugs but it works on them also..strong suction though though.. The cord is fine, it holds more dust then I thought it would, you only open one snap on the bottom to empty it. You do not have too take the filter out? I would buy this again! Ill update this if it breaks !

> 3 dayIt is powerful enough when the cup is empty. Not so much when it is full. Empty often. Wish there was a crevice tool included. Otherwise it is handy. I use it as a supplemental vacuum in the bedroom.

> 3 dayBought a house with tile floors and this light weight vacuum does the job and easy to clean canister. I only have a few throw rugs to clean its ok on those but great on hard surface. No accessories to fall off while you use it they are all part of the vacuum

Greater than one weekEven though I have a Hoover upright (Wind Tunnel) for my flat carpeted floors, it needs a bag, its loud, it doesnt have good suction and definitely a hassle on carpeted stairs which I now have with a recent move. This little vacuum is perfect and the price is right also. Adjusts for use on hardwood floors. It is lightweight, maneuvers well, easy to clean and dump the dirt (no bag!!) The assembly is super quick and the suction is awesome. I would recommend for stairs but maybe not the whole carpeted house, just because it has such good suction it makes it slow going but it would be a great workout!

> 3 dayThis little vacuum is amazing. See my attached photos for visual testimony of the suction power of this little powerhouse. Im a bit embarrassed to share my photos, however, they attest to how well this vacuum works. We have a very large home with lots of tile and hardwood flooring, and 2 area rugs. I host a weekly class in our home, consequently the whole house gets swept, mopped, and vacuumed at least weekly, if not twice a week. I had noticed our old vacuum was not doing quite as good of a job as it had previously, but I had no idea what a poor job it was truly doing. My first photo shows the filth that this new vacuum pulled out of ONE 8×12 area rug in our sunroom after I had thoroughly vacuumed the rug less than 48 hours before using our old vacuum. We dont even use our sunroom-- our two Great Danes do, however. They seem to think its their personal playground. I wasnt even going to bother to vacuum the rug again, but figured I should give the new vacuum a whirl when it arrived-- so glad I did! My first photo shows the dirt and dog hair that the vacuum pulled out of the area rug with just a few minutes of vacuuming. I do use deodorizing carpet cleaner powder on the rugs every few months just to make sure theres no dog scent hanging around, so I do think some of the dust that is seen in the vacuum cannister is powder that our old vacuum didnt pull out of the rug. Regardless, great little vacuum. Only caveat is that it doesnt have a roller bar, which I do prefer, but I guess if it continues to provide as much suction power as it has so far, a roller bar wouldnt make any difference.

> 3 dayI used this to vacuum my hardwood floors, my rugs, my couch, and my bed. I love this thing truly. I works a dream on hardwood floors. I have 2 very hairy dogs and it picks up even giant globs of fur. I never have to sweep again. I really love all the attachments, and they work very well. I even use them for dusting everything and getting hair off of walls and counters. I only gave 4 stars though, because it is not the best on rugs and carpets. You cannot push this vacuum back and forth on rugs or carpets because there is to much suction, even on their designated settings. It works fine for me, since I just learned to push forward, pick up the head, then push forward again. But it really isnt the best at picking up things on carpet at all, and you have to go over and over. On my bed and upholstery, it works pretty good. Not as great as on the floors, but its better than nothing. If you have only carpet, dont get this. But, if you have hardwood floors, and only a few rugs or upholstery to clean, this is really really great. Definitely works for what I need.

> 3 dayVery good suction (pet-free household), works well on hard and carpeted floors, super easy to clean, loving the in-built brush to reach narrow spaces, optimal cord length (can do a large room without reconnecting). Key drawback- wobbly attachment of the wand/tube, doesn’t sit tight, gets disconnected easily (you can work around it, but the design could certainly be improved).
