Evergreen CECOMINOD073162 GE • Genteq 1/3 HP 230 Volt Replacement X-13 Furnace Blower Motor

Ordered this to replace a X13 Carrier blower. This part is $250 cheaper than the part the AC company tried to sell us. It had 5 fan speeds instead of the 3 ours usually comes with. It fit our unit fine and saved us a bunch of money. We just installed it today so if we have any issues, I will update this review.

Part arrived on time and was well packed so it arrived in good condition. I was surprised to find a complete set of installation instructions as well as a new wiring harness. These were not listed in the online description of the item. I am a very handy DIYer and found the instructions easy to follow when comparing their diagrams and directions to my own pictures of the wiring (before I removed anything).

Came with stickers for the air handler and a adapter harness . It was a easy install, saved big $$. Well packaged

Replaced the motor myself about 8 months ago. Still running!

HVAC tech came and diagnosed problem as the EMC in the blower motor. Quoted $300+ just for the EMC, & $600+ to replace the motor, and then $250 for installation. Ordered Evergreen blower motor for $210, my husband installed it himself, and within 4 minutes, our heat was working just fine. Would definitely order again! Saved us A LOT of money

AC guy said blower motor circuit module bad and to replace just circuit module it $1175 with one year warranty And found the hole motor in Amazon for $200 and Genteq Evergreen technical support was great too walked me though the installing part over phone. Save $1000

It was exactly what my air conditioner needed! And cheaper than the dealer

Been using this for about a month now with no issues. Same as the original. The speed taps on this unit seem a little different than my old unit, but you can match the one thats closest. No problem.
