Good power supply for the value

La verda por el momento la fuente no me ha dado ningun tipo de problema por incluso. Hasta el mometo ha sobrevivido 7 apagones mientra se usaba. Es seguro que tiene componetes de calidad.

Needed a power supply for a FreeNas DYI box from leftover pieces. Does the job, it’s fully-modular, clean and reliable power. No issues.

Needed more wattage for my 8700k + 3080, so I bought this since it had good reviews from GamersNexus

Would have rather bought a Corsair PSU than this one had I known the quality. Noisy straight out of the box upon first start-up and its not even under a load. EVGAs quality has gone downhill. Dont buy this PSU.

When I rebuilt my machine 5 years ago, one of the places I cut corners was on the power supply. Big mistake - the cheap one I bought failed without warning after only a few years. Im lucky it didnt fry any of my other components! This time around, I wanted to make sure that I bought a quality product that would last, as I rely on my PC for both work and for my free time.

Its my first time buying this, I have not regrets so far.

Bad coils whine

Its a functional power supply, but the fan is very loud even at low loads. If you enable Eco mode it is silent but the moment it kicks the fan on under load it does so at max RPM. You fire up your game and then a jet turbine starts in your case.

Be aware the fan will make a little chirping noise upon start up which EVGA states is due to the fluid dynamic bearings and I even ordered a replacement to be sure and it sounded the same. Otherwise the unit is dead silent even when not in eco mode and the flat cabling is awesome and looks clean.
