13-06-2025These are great light weight wool socks that dont itch and are very comfortable for hours. A good value, but wont hold up to early spring, fall or winter hiking at all. Definitley not a true Smart Wool-type. Its good for the price point and can be used as a general sock for moderate weather and activities..

> 3 day***UPDATE*** I’ve worn these hiking a few times now and I still absolutely love them- the one downside is that they are not wool which is preferable (for me) for a hiking sock. I wear these everyday though and still highly recommend!! I wear a women’s size 10 and the large fits perfectly. I bought the 3 pack to wear with new hiking boots I got but as soon as I tried them on, I fell in love!! They are so comfy and plush. I ended up ordering a 6 pack the next day. I’ve not got to wear them hiking yet but I did try them on with the boots and it was perfect! Just walking around the house they were staying up but I’ll have to update the review once I actually get to wear them out.

> 3 dayI have thick ankles. These socks shrink enough in the dryer to constrict circulation on my ankles. If you have slender ankles these socks will machine wash and dry nicely for you.

> 3 dayA tad bit snug at top of cuff, and I have pretty trim ankles. But socks are soft and warm, and are great w/my work boots i wear when needing to dig holes in my garden or lift heavy bags of soil and mulch.
