I’ve been buying the small 4 oz. bottles of Resolene, but it’s a better deal buying it by the quart. I dilute it with water, 50/50. I can spray or brush it. It’s not as shiny when diluted, more of a satin, so if you want shiny, either use it straight or maybe only cut it 25% with water.

I like this product it was able to dye the seats the way I wanted I dont think its water resistant like it is advertised because when I try to wipe with a wet rag at least residue on a rag

Combined with the deglazer and dye, this saved my sofas. Smooth, non tacky finish. Use in very light coats. I bought WAY too big a bottle, I used barely a quarter of it on my two huge sofas.

I like it better when I mix 50/50 with water

Have no idea what happened. It came clumpy. Can only assume UPS let it freeze and its no good after being frozen. Was a waste of money.

A little goes a long way with this finish. I only used about the top inch of this bottle on a couch and loveseat, and could have gotten the 4oz bottle. I diluted half with water as some reviewers suggested, and put in a spray bottle. I used this after redying my couches to restore a water resistant seal. This took the couch from a flat finish to a nice moderate sheen, it looked like cared for leather again. We tried using a conditioner after using the seal, and it didnt soak in all the way. I think this is due to the finish being water resistant and just did not think about it. However, after this finish the couch didnt need a conditioner - it was an unnecessary step. If you want to use conditioner, I would recommend doing beforehand and letting it fully soak in before applying this finish.

The bottle I ordered was delivered chunky. That means that is was frozen at some point and is now unusable.

This awful stuff mixed with the leather recoloring balm on my leather chairs and completely altered the color! My chair went from dark navy blue to a streaky greenish color! Also, it leaves streak and smudges. Absolutely awful product!!!

Provides a flexible, durable, water-repellant acrylic top finish for dyed, antiqued, or polished leathers.
