Greater than one weekWe have an older Kitchen Aid dishwasher in one house, with a stainless steel interior. I have been annoyed for years at the dried soap buildup around the door seal as well as on the top of the door. I honestly hadnt noticed any dullness to the stainless interior. At our other house, we have a newer Frigidaire dishwasher, with a plastic interior. The unit is less than a year old, and already, there was noticeable discoloration around the soap dispenser. On a lark, after reading some reviews here, I decided to give it a try on the Kitchen Aid, figuring that if it did a good job, Id then try it on the Frigidaire. I was amazed - with both interiors. The stainless is so bright, I hadnt realized how dull it had become. After one use, fully 75% of the buildup from the door seal was gone, and Im anticipating my next round to finish it off. The top of the door interior is also sparkling clean and clear of soap residue. In the Frigidaire, I was similarly pleased to see that all of the residue around the dispenser was gone after just the first application. Personally, I like the clean, fresh scent, though it is better (lighter, perhaps) with the stainless interior than with the plastic. My wife and daughters dont care for the scent, however, but nobody can argue about the cleaning results.

> 3 dayIve used this product many times always using the hottest and pots and pans cycle on the dishwasher. Afterwards there is still a film I need to clean off the inside of the door which is silver metal. Ive also stopped using their pods and liquid soap for better quality.

> 3 dayI do like this product. I think it does clean your dishwasher nicely. The only complaint I have is the smell. It leaves a gross smell for a couple washes after.

> 3 dayNow granted, I live in a rental so Im not sure what this dishwasher smelled like new, but Ive been to big box stores and it smelled similar to those machines. It was super simple to use the cleaner with the instructions on the bottle. You should definitely still clean out the filter on the dishwasher to make sure its fully clean. Thats it...follow the instructions and your dishwasher wont smell terrible.

Greater than one weekSo I got this product to clean my machine regularly. I’m a big fan of Taking care of your machines so they last longer. I read the instructions and got ready and exited for my machine, I call her Lola. Lola was probably super dirty since I rent and I have no idea how well the last tenant took care of her. So anyway I pulled the sticker (you are NOT supposed to take the wax plug out) upside down in the rack, set the cycle and 2 and some more minutes hours later the results were confusing. The wax plug did not melt, which left me thinking if I had done it correctly or not, so I did what anyone does this days, YouTube my troubleshoot. After a few videos, I’ve learned that sometimes the water is not hot enough to melt the plug, soy they recommended I turn the water on my faucet to the hottest and then run the cleaning cycle again (extra hot, heavy etc). I didn’t work again, so I thought that maybe it needed a little help. So I opened my faucet again with the hottest water and melted most but not all of the plug. It kind of worked, after yet another cycle, most of the plug and almost all the product were gone. I didn’t like the idea of me running 3 cycles and running hot water on my faucet to get the result it should do in 1 go. Also I gives your washer a very intense soap smell, which I did not enjoy. As a conclusion, I have mixed feelings because it could be Lola who’s not giving enough hot water or I could be the product, but it seemed in my YouTube search that it happens more often that not. I changed to another brand and I’m quite happy with the results
