IT WORKS WELL FOR A 5 DAY BUSINESS TRIP, EVEN WITH MY STEEL TOED SAFETY BOOTS AND SANDALS IN THE SHOE COMPARTMENT. I ONLY HAD TO EXPAND ONE END (OPPOSITE THE SHOE COMPARTMENT) TO TRAVEL AS A CARRY-ON. LOVE THE BAG. WHEN I ORDERED IT IT EVEN ARRIVED 2 DAYS QUICKER THAN I EXPECTED IT TO. I WOULD MOST DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THE BAG TO OTHERS!

> 3 dayThe current 3 * is based on after 3/4 trips, the strap handle stitching became undone, making it hard to travel with the duffel. The duffel was never overpacked nor was there a lot of weight. I assume that it was just a defective stitch, and am reordering, but will see how the new one lasts. Love the design and the functionality of the features listed though.
