My Technics unit had more bells and whistles than this one, but this a good turntable for the price and it looks good enough to leave out on display. I know more about audio equipment than the average person, however, I am not a Audiophile. This is a good entry to midlevel turntable.

> 3 dayThe cheap plastic cased needle broke, no surprise, and the replacement is $46. Its a cheap 1/2 inch piece of plastic with a needle. If I knew this ahead of time I would have never purchased it. Waste of money.

> 3 dayAn amazing turntable at an entry level price. Setup was very easy (but I referred to Fluances YouTube video instead of the instructions) and it sounded fantastic right away. Im using the built in pre-amp to get music to the powered Edifier speakers I bought at the same time. Ive read a lot of complaints about the pre-amp, but find it to be warm and tonally accurate enough for my ears. The construction and materials seem as sturdy as any unit you might pay twice as much for. Well done, Fluance.
