Flukers Large Critter Cavern Reptile/Small Animal Hide

My little pacman frog loves to hide under this log. He/she is only about 4-6 months old and pretty tiny. The small size would probably be too small for a full grown or more mature frog.

For the price, it’s very sturdy and nice. Al liked it right away. However the cut was uneven and made the opening smaller because of it.

I liked this product at first, especially for the price. But the top was so rough I was worried it might hurt my ball python. and then when I took it out to clean the tank after only 1-2 weeks, there was a bunch of mold growing all along the bottom of it! I was sooo grossed out. NONE of the other stuff we’ve purchased has done that and we have all kinds of items in there. Vines, rocks, water dish, bath dish, hammock, bamboo climbers, etc. This was a great deal until I had to throw it away right after purchasing. No one likes watching their money go right into the garbage!!!

The size is totally inconsistent. I bought two, one was used, I obviously got the one that was returned that looks like it is half of what it should have been. They will still work for my small Russian tortoise. But extra large is not so extra. That’s what you get though when you order organic material online. They are much cheaper online but it is not something you can see so you just have to chance it:)

Youll need to pull staples used with the label out of this using pliers before it is safe for snakes. Otherwise yeah its a piece of wood.

Double-check the dimensions on this extra large log. Its actually very small and I had to return mine.

I love the real bark texture to the hide, my reptile loves basking on top!!
