> 24 hourI use my foredom for woodcarving and I needed a handle that would accomodate 1/4 inch bits for removing large amounts of wood so I wouldnt have to keep borrowing them from other class members. Now I have one. Works great!

> 24 hourI wanted a flexshaft handpiece that I could use to mount 1/4 tools and this is it. Not many of these handpieces will hold 1/4 shafts which really come in handy when doing power carving. I just had to modify the shaft and mounting ring on my Chicago Electric unit. Took a little doing but it works well. Eventually I plan to use it on either a Foredom or Mastercarver flexshaft system, though it might be handy to have it available just for detail sanding on the Chicago Electric. Later note: I see that some responses have noted that no modifications were necessary for the shaft to fit with a Harbor Freight tool. For some reason the shaft would not fit as is on mine. Either way this is an excellent hand piece. I continue to use this on the Harbor Freight tool on nearly a daily basis.

> 24 hourThis hand piece works smooth and quietly rotates. No fatigue to my hand and powerful rough carving capabilities. Worth the price, great quality.

> 24 hourAllowed my to use 1/4 shaft tools with my HF rotary tool. That said, the HF shaft fits but not super tight like your hope for. Its looser than youd expect. You can use it as is or do as I did and use a fine metal shim to have it fit perfectly. This is just one of the Foredom parts youll need to improve the HF rotary tool. The other, which makes all the difference is the Foredom Foot pedal. Then its wow! Nice tool. And when youre ready to upgrade to Foredom you have those two parts.

> 24 hourGreat handpiece! Anyone who uses a Foredom regularly for heavier jobs should have a 44T! Collets are the way to go for holding your tooling with confidence

> 24 hourI bought this for my harbor freight Chicago flexshaft and it bolts right up. Very comfortable. And im finely able to use the 1/4th shaft burrs I have. The grip was the same price as the HF flex shaft. But it still beats buying a pricy foredom hands down.
