Went hiking up Colorados tallest mountain and needed some help. But vain as I am, I did not want to standard walmart variety of poles so I spent just a tiny bit more to get something a little nicer. Great purchase! These come with various tips for various terrain. I watched a video how to properly use them and boy did they save me. When used properly theyll save a ton of energy going up a hill (or walking. When coming down they definitely saved some falls...probably a good three times. One near fall was awful enough I feared I had bent/broken a pole but it was as if nothing happened. Great appearance, nice bag to carry them, handles are comfy, and the poles are light. You can spend 5x this amount but if youre mostly casually hiking, these are a great step up from the ultra-cheapies and will do the job.

LOVE these poles. These are the first pair Ive ever had, and I feel safer when Im hiking with them. The shape of the handles and the cork on them feel good when youre holding them. Ive only used them for day hiking in the Arizona desert so far, but have had to climb into and out of washes at points, and theyve held up to me putting my weight on them. If you read the one star reviews, the most common complaint is that the poles collapse at the adjustment point, but I have to think that some of those people arent tightening the extra pin that runs into the adjustment collar. Besides closing that flap gate on the collar, theres also a little dial built onto the side of the collar, and if you tighten that dial it cinches the whole thing tighter. I definitely feel like I got my moneys worth from these poles and would recommend them to other hikers.

I just used my new Foxelli trekking poles on a rigorous 7+ mile hike through varied terrain including hills, mud, standing water, rocks, and a treacherous creek crossing. The poles were comfortable and helped me keep my balance.

I bought these trekking poles in preparation for a trip to Antarctica. They were so easy to put together which is a big plus for someone like me who is not handy. Height adjustment is easy. Everything fits nicely in the carrying case which will fit in my back pack. They are well made and lightweight. I look forward to using them, and am highly satisfied with these poles

I love these poles. I enjoy hiking but sometimes rough terrain can be challenging. These will make me feel more secure.

These trekking poles are a life changer for me. I have bone on bone arthritis in both knees and walking, even with a cane, was extremely painful. These trekking poles are amazing. I am walking without knee pain and increasing my distance every time I go out for a walk. They are extremely good quality too - I am very impressed and amazed at the difference they are making in my quality of life.
