Not only are these as cheaply made as I expected, they are dangerous. Two of the piece came apart sending strands flying, and luckily in hot weather I was still smart enough to wear protective gear. Still pulling strands out that impaled my sweatshirt.

The kit arrived quickly and is lasting so far.

This very well put together set of wire brushes arrived quickly and were just what I needed to clean a complex, ornate, cast iron decoration on an old house. The stainless steel bristles worked well on both the rust and the old paint and look like they will not rust themselves. This kit was a useful addition to my toolkit and a good value.

Seems to be stainless steel. Cant really tell if it is stainless steel or carbon steel. If these are stainless, htey are a good value.
