Front Face Plate Faceplate Shell Case Cover Replacement for Sony PSP 1000 1001 Fat (Black)

It’s not the same construction method as OEM so it’s a little more flexible. The Sony logo and PS logo as skewed a bit as to probably attempt to get around licensing or trademark usage. Only reason purchased was to allow the use of the glass lcd cover instead of the plastic one to take better advantage of optical clarity and performance of the IPS LCD upgrade. Did have to disassemble the power indicator to trim the LED light tube as it was poking up through the front panel.

As expected, cannot complain.

Great way to make your old PSP look new again.

Everything swapped over and fit nicely without modification on my psp-1001. A little tight but it snapped on and the screws pulled it together. Has all decals, and the bottom screw hole is there. You have to push a little hard to get the screws started, but it looks nice and works well for a cheap reproduction.

I bought new came with multiple deep scratches on the screen. Very poor product.

To replace current faceplate

I bought this because it was advertised for the PSP 1000 series but it does not fit the Joy stick, it is too small I had to enlarge it with a knife to fit it properly.

The writing on the plate was faded and scratched. I was going to return it but it was thrown in the garbage before I got the chance.

Fits great on my psp it was a perfect fit.
