I bought this for my 20 year old son’s room. He was home for the holidays, and since that time, no matter what I’ve done, washed all the lines, vacuumed with sweet smelling powder, making sure the there was no trash or dirty laundry, it has maintained that “teenage boy smell “ I put the jar of this in the corner of the room and was amazed! It completely neutralized the bad smell. It doesn’t smell like anything in there now (which I like- no weird nauseating air freshener smell either)! Just fresh normal room smell, lol! Great product! I just sent it to him for his room at school!

I ordered this to be delivered to my sailor on deployment. He said not all of his bunk mates shower as often as he’d like and this has helped make it tolerable to be in their vicinity. Probably because of the location it’s not lasting as long as I thought but I’ll still order another one.

I love the way this makes my work truck smell clean and not like a work truck. The beads are cool to have and look at.….but there’s a problem. The container SUUUCKS. It needs a better way of sealing it. The top falls off way too easy. I hit a bump on the road, the jar rolled and hit the ground and there were beads everywhere…. It was frustrating because besides some dirt I keep a neat truck. I’ve bought 3 of these and 2 of them the lid popped off and beads everywhere and the third was stolen when the truck was in the shop. This product needs a threaded lid upgrade and needs to be able to fit in a cup holder to make this product more vehicle friendly.

I have mixed feelings about this product. I bought it because I bought garden compost, and tracked some of into my truck. The product took care of the smell, but here is my story. I live in Arkansas, and it it was around 90 degrees outside. I put the FunkAway product in the truck at night, and by morning the smell was gone. The problem occurred later that day. As the day got hotter, the container began to warp. Remember, I’ve had the product for less than 24 hours. I got in my truck to drive and noticed the container looked warped. I touched it, and the top popped off under pressure. The little orbs went everywhere. I mean, they shot out like a little orb cannon. The contain was on my dash, and the orbs went in the floor, all over the dash, inside the intake vents on the dash, and everywhere in between. It was pretty crazy. I wish I had it on video to post here. So…. Does the product work? Yes, actually quite well. Enough to remove the smell of compost from a hot truck. Should you keep this in a vehicle if it is getting hot outside? NO! But if you do, record it in slow-mo because the flying orbs are something to behold.

It didn’t mask the Oder all the way. It does last a while but diminished limited low scent. For the price I say not worth it

Got these to help eliminate a hint of pet odor from the previous tenant of our townhouse. Popped these up throughout the house. I would say these things have about a 2 foot scent radius, and didn’t eliminate the smell. I put two of them in one, small room and it barely did anything.

We bought this product to address the barnyard smell that was starting to happen in our living room from our pet Holland lop bunnies-- put this out on a shelf near their enclosure and you cant smell them at all anymore! The beads dont scent the air, just removes the bad smell. Theyve also lasted a good long time-- weve had the jar several months and its still working great-- its about 2/3 gone after almost 3 months, so great value there.

I bought a few of these after reading one particular review about how it removed bad odor from a teens bedroom. The beads smell really good but they dont do much remove odor. I have one room in my home that has a stale funk and I cant find the source of the odor. No mold, no dirt so why does it stink? This item does nothing at all in that room. I also have one upstairs near the cat litter box. I scoop daily but this doesnt begin to handle cat box odor. And its right next to the box. The beads are lasting a long time but I cant see where they are doing anything to remove stale household odors. Opening windows does a better job.
