Wedge works well, but I might have gelot too rough with it and it bent, but I was able to bend it back and it still works

Lighter and appears good quality. Actually a good functional size. Will fit pike on bar

I used this with a true halligan and could go thru the door prop just as quick or quicker than the halligan and axe.

Working on one of the Nations largest Fire Rescue Departments, driving one of the dozen+ 105’ Straight sticks, this wedge in the short time I have had it, has proven itself to be the single most valuable piece of equipment I think I have ever purchased. To the point I have made three additional orders for my crew, other drivers and our company captain as well. Need to gain more leverage when forcing a door, hold what you got with progress, wedge a door for the rescue crew, or for PPV, this work horse has you covered. This wedge has very soft metal that will warp and create sharp edges quickly, requiring grinding to maintain after each use. Also, it came with the edge of the wedge uneven, requiring immediate maintenance to make it right. Would not recommend this product, go with something more high quality.

Only had it a few months and it’s already come in handy for forcible entry as well as an elevator rescue. I’m one of those guys that keeps it on their helmet and it’s pretty lightweight and doesn’t feel weird being on your head. Just be cautious the edge is razor sharp
