Somehow lost the rubber grommet on my wifes bike. Bought this to replace it and works perfectly.

If you are ordering this, more than likely you lost the correct shim for your bike or you lost/snapped the correct rubber band. This is an AWFUL mounting system for an expensive - but very useful - accessory. And as other posters have said - its $1 worth of goods for $25. You will feel absolutely violated spending $25 on this replacement kit. Having said this, you will also feel violated spending $25 on the Garmin Seat Post Quarter Turn, 010-10644-11 (also here on Amazon) - but its a MUCH MORE SECURE mount for your Varia. They charge enough for the Varia that they should toss in both mounts, but alas, why not milk the constituency for a few more bucks.

Works well. If youre using this on a triathlon bike or time trial bike though, youll need to find much larger rubber bands to secure it to your seat post. Even the largest size here doesnt fit. I personally had to use zip ties or larger rubber bands from another device.

My Varia radar has become an essential piece of safety equipment, and with 4 bikes I routinely ride on the road, I needed more mounts. I’ve tried seat post mounts, but with other things already mounted on the seat post, I was looking for something to mount on a seat stay. The right combination of inserts and bands can be a little tricky, but once you find the correct combination, you’ll have a sturdy place to mount your Varia radar.
