Garmin Mount Connects Suction Cup with Unit

Actual Garmin brand product. Works great, just like the original that came with the GPS originally.

FINALLY! VERY EXCEEDINGLY HAPPY! I bought a combination of three items to make the VERY BEST Magnetic Portable iPhone holder with the BEST Garmin Base out there!!! “Maxboost Universal Flat Magnetic Mount” round magnets are EXTREMELY STRONG and come with various magnetic stick ons to place on phones, etc., in order to connect to the heavy round Maxboost magnet. I adhered one of the heavy round Maxboost magnets to the “Garmin Round mount” and adhered one of the stick on metal rectangle pieces (included with the Maxboost Magnetic Mount) to the back of my iPhone 11 Pro case. The Garmin Round Mount snaps into the Heavy “sand bag” portable Garmin base with the round knobbed arm. Now it’s ready to use with your iPhone! No hassle AND Portable!!!

Which window suction cup will fit into this? This fits back side of Garmin Nuvi 2597 LMT. But that is it! My original window suction mount male part is too big to fit into this one’s female part. Part number is 145-01615-12 while my chipped original part number is 145-01615-10. Also when looking inside the female part, #2 is visible while original shows #4. Obviously there are two different parts. If I am going to keep this, I must find correct size suction cup which is a huge challenge. They all look like in the pictures and obviously there Is no universal size. Remember, older days. You have to buy different charger every time you switch your phone because cell phone companies made all different size/shape charger inserts to make money. It is too much challenge to find the male part suction cup so I must return this. I am going to shop a mounting set for Garmin Nuvi 2597LMT. I probably have to trash existing male suction cup mount and dash board mount. Pretty soon, they may quit manufacturing any more mounting device for my GPS model (which I LOVE) all together. I am going to get multiple sets once I found a right one!

Finding this mounting to replace our broken one meant that we didnt need to replace a perfectly good GPS.

Fits perfectly. I am glad I purchased the actual brand name item. The difference in price between this and the after market designs is not worth the risk of getting an inferior product.

Fits and works perfectly. This is an actual Garmin part. Way, way cheaper than on Garmins site.

My husband lost the original mount. I bought this to replace it. It fit perfectly. Took one point off for the price. I thought it was a little pricey for a hard piece of molded plastic. Of course now that he put this one on he found his original in his truck.
