> 24 hourEasy to install! Solved our issue with toilet refilling ALL the time! The old one was definitely worn and had bubbles. Lots of youtube tutorials on how to change this out. If your kohler toilet is running refilling a lot give this a shot before replacing!

> 24 hourI moved to a new place and the toilet was shut off as it was leaking water. I had not seen the toilet yet and thought it was a normal one so I bought a repair kit and found the toilet was very different from any I had seen before. It did not have a standard flapper so the repair kit would not work. I looked up the brand and model number and found out it used a ring gasket to seal the cylinder. I could not find one in town as all that was available were standard flappers. I found the right gasket here and it installed without a problem after watching a YouTube video on how to remove the cylinder. The old gasket was gooey and sticky but came off and cleaned up without much difficulty. The new seal is working so far with no more running water.

> 24 hourThis is a Kohler replacement part. It is very good quality and expect it to last years under my water conditions. It takes about 5 minutes to replace - the canister must be removed so that the seal can be easily accessed. Use care when removing the upper yellow or black plastic disk where the water line attaches. I cracked it on another toilet.

> 24 hourI have a couple Kohler Cimarron and one Kohler Wellworth toilets that use these seals. On the Kohler site, theyre shown as yellow, but this image shows a red seal (like the original). The seals I received were yellow, which allows the user to more easily see that theyre installed evenly and correctly. Ill post a picture of the actual seal later. [...] The instructions on the back of the packaging were super-easy to follow. Its a simple matter of a quarter-turn to unlock the cylinder, then lifting out the cylinder and replacing the seal at the bottom. The seal went on easily and my toilet was fixed in about a minute or two. Nobody should feel intimidated by this process! Anybody can do it. The only issue I had was that the plastic piece that locks the cylinder down seemed to be stuck a bit, so I was afraid I would break it, but it broke loose and came off easily after that. It was a simple quarter-turn to remove it. I bought a couple of these. Shipping was covered by Amazon Prime, whereas on the Kohler site there was a shipping charge. Excellent product with simple instructions on the back. Highly recommended! I now really like this better than the old style flapper seal. Dont pay anybody to do this for you! You can do it!

> 24 hourUPDATE—exactly 4 years after I purchased these, they started to fail, water was draining out of the tank and I would hear the toilets periodically refill, which progressively happened more and more frequently. When I removed these to replace them again, I noticed that they had stretched out and were considerably more loose than a brand new replacement. So I am concluding that these have a four year life. ORIGINAL REVIEW: have 4 Kohler cannister toilets in the house we recently purchased and 3 of them had issues—one was very hard to press the flush handle, one had a slow leak into the tank and would refill every half hour or so, one leaked into the tank nonstop and the water just started running until I shut off the water valve. I purchased 3 of these replacement gaskets which all fixed the different problems in every toilet. Highly recommend. I am going to buy another one to replace in the 4th toilet just to avert a problem likely to come. Highly recommend this part BEFORE you bother to replace the entire cannister gizmo. Glad I read the reviews and purchase the authentic part and didn’t do more than I needed to.

> 24 hourSo... do I give this five stars because its exactly what it is? Like, if you need one of these, this is the thing you buy. One-star or five-star, this is the product your toilet requires, right, so, what could this star rating possibly even mean? If you need a new one of these youre going to buy it no matter what I say. Unless you just want to throw your old toilet out and get a new one, but like, if you were that type of person you wouldnt be reading Amazon reviews of canister flush valve seals, we both know that. Its great. It works exactly as advertised.. how could it not? Its the correct canister flush valve seal for the model of toilet I poop into, right, of course it works. The instructions dont explain how to take the toilet apart to change it. Should they? I dont know. Im taking a star off for it, Ill tell you that. Ultimately I figured out how to just force it into place but I would have much rather put it on the right way. But here we are, and the toilet flushes great. Five-star product, one-star instructions, I guess.

> 24 hourAfter nine years, the original canister seal disintegrated causing the toilet to continue running. It was difficult to remove the canister top (plastic, didnt want to snap/break it), but once that was done the old seal took some work to remove but this seal went on like a charm. Hoping to get another 9 years out of it.

> 24 hourThe old seal was busted and the tank would refill every minute. I was worried as I was not the one to install the flapper and I had never run into a cylindrical one before. Once I got it It was quite intuitive on how to install it and took less than 10 minutes for the whole thing to be taken apart and put back together. Now my toilet only flushes after use.
