Great additional protection for an already sturdy drive. Not as “grippy” as I thought it might be but it does the job for a shy price. I would buy again… and did for my blue T7 drive.

My fault for not reading the product description. However this casing was bundled with the frequently bought together with the Samsung T5. They also sell a T5 version. Make sure you get the correct size for your external SSD.

really an easy upgrade and seems to offer good protection

It fits snugly and tightly but is very easy to put on. The color is nice and it doesnt really attract dirt or grease or whatever. totally worth it to keep the SSD in a new condition.

Unhappy with my purchase. The case is functional but it arrived with multiple spots/scuffs of black on the red silicone. Would love one in proper condition.

I was pleased the getgear silicone sleeve did fit my newly purchased Samsung T7 1TB External USB 3.2 Gen 2 Portable SSD (not the Touch model) like a glove. The sleeve flexed enough to easily receive the SSD and provides a snug fit that doesnt seem capable of being rolled off in your pocket. My in-use dimensions are about 3-11/16L x 2.5W x 0.5H, minimally adding to the T7 dimensions. The silicone is smooth enough to slide into a carry case easily but provides enough resistance to keep it in place on the desk. (The T7 is so light it doesnt produce much drag either). I am confident the geatgear sleeve will protect my T7 during my use. NOTE: I also purchased the getgear sleeve for my Samsung T5 SSD and had the same results.
