I was so hesitant on buying monitors. After upgrading my GPU to a 2070 Super, I figured it was time to pull the trigger on a 1440p monitor. After doing countless hours of research and price matching I came across this. I ended up buying the monitor and it is probably my favorite purchase this year. Between the picture quality and how games look on this...its absolutely amazing. My only problem with the monitor is the little bit of bleed you get at black screens or transitions. I dont really mess with monitor settings and Im sure there is a sweet spot to get it to go away but I feel like I tried my best but it still remains. Other than that, I HIGHLY recommend!

Incredible value. Great picture quality, especially for gaming. Only downsides: stand adjustments are very limited and curve could take some getting used to. Highly recommend this monitor.

On the surface it seems like a great monitor with great features for the price point. However, one issue that is really annoying me is the ghosting/smearing. I managed to minimize it as much as I could in the settings, but its still somewhat noticeable even just scrolling through webpages. Other than that Ive had no issues (yet). Im hoping it might just be my graphics card as Im using a Radeon rx 470 gpu at the moment while Im waiting to be able to get my hands on one of the new nvidia gpus that just came out or one of the amd gpus that are coming soon. Ill try to remember to come back to this review once I do get a better gpu to either give more stars or take more away. Edit: In the end Ive decided to just go ahead and return this monitor as I just wasnt happy with it in favor of getting a better one. It could just be my gpu, but even attempting to run it at 60hz wasnt getting me anywhere, and I didnt even test it much on any video games. Im no where close to being an expert on monitors, so maybe its my fault but I cant seem to solve the ghosting issues Im having with it, even putting the overdrive to quality didnt help. I just dont have the patience for it is the exact reason why I have decided to return it.

I love everything about the monitor, but there are multiple dead pixels, one being right in the middle... so perfectly placed right dead center. It is very annoying.

I dont write a lot of reviews but this one is to help people. The biggest most important problem. THIS SCREEN WILL BURN IN. I bought this monitor as a replacement in a pinch. Price was right and it was the same size. I swapped my bad monitor out with this one made a few adjustments and was good to go. I have been using the same Microsoft background for a decade. Never had a problem. After about 2 weeks I was in Photoshop and I noticed my desktop background in PS. I thought for some reason PS had some translucent option enabled or something. No I noticed on every application. I managed to get most of the burn it to go away using a pixel stimulator on YouTube. I changed desktops to something very dark. Then days later I notice the same issue with some TEXT documents that have been on my desktop for years. The white documents had burned in. Again I attempted the fix as best I can. I have had to install various programs to keep the monitor from burning in as well as swapped all cables. I currently have a program that makes my desktop icons disappear in 20 seconds, and a program that forces a pixel stimulation for 2 seconds every few hours. I finally got ahold of RMA and they said they would replace the monitor but this should not have happened on such a modern day monitor. I have a monitor that is 15 years old that has never experience burn in. Also. The power management for the monitor is borked. When you switch inputs the monitor is considered disconnected. So if you have multiple monitors all your icon shift everywhere as it thinks the monitor is not there. This also occurs during a power shut down with a time out. When the monitor comes back on. All your icons might shift everywhere. For the price monitors now. spend a little more. I know that 165hz sounds tempting as the competition is 144hz, but just stick to a better quality monitor at 144hz. You will have few problems.
