> 3 dayThe handle ties are why I go out of my way to find this product. They make lifting the full bag out of the trash can easier and then easily tie and carry the bag. I dislike the drawstring type bags where the red band rips too easily through the bag and the flap tie bags are too hard to open and annoying to gather and tie the flaps.

> 3 dayThese are the best trash bags with the handles. I wish Glad would continue to sell them in stores.

> 3 dayI think Ive tried every self-close-and-tie bag on the market, and in my opinion, these are the best. Theyre extra sturdy -- it takes a LOT of force or super sharp pointy things to poke a hole in one of these. They fit my kitchen trash can perfectly. My can is rated for use with 13-gallon bags, but some of the drawstring ones dont fit the circumference -- theyre just a bit too small. These fit beautifully with a nice overhang. They tie easily and do a good job of closing the bag, plus you get a carry handle with no worries of a broken draw string. I have these on subscription. No more shopping around!

> 3 dayI love these and wish so much they sold them at a local store near me, but alas, Amazon is the only place I can find them. The handles are the best part...screw those drawstrings! They hold up when full without breaking and are easy to pull out of the box when I need a new one.

> 3 dayMy wife has always loved these, and we can’t buy them in stores. They work well & by the case they’re very reasonable. She likes the fact that you can lift up the trash by the handles, and there’s still some space there, making it easy to tie.

> 3 dayThickest bags so they don’t puncture easily. I don’t purchase any other bags and I’ve been purchasing them for over 20 years!

> 3 dayLets start with the price issue: I purchased this product from Amazon for $32.11 for a case of four (200 bags), with no taxes and with free delivery. I was very happy with the price, given the convenience of having the item delivered to my home. Since pricing has changed since then, you may be well advised to research the going rate for these bags in your area, before making the decision to buy. Regarding the product itself: I had been using the drawstring trashbag variety exclusively, before trying out Glad Handle Tie. I had two concerns: 1) would the volume of trash the bag can hold be affected by the location of the handles? 2) would the handles allow for as good trash containment as the drawstrings do? Answers: 1) After a side by side comparison, there is no volume difference; 2) Actually, the handles are MUCH stronger then the strings (which would sometimes snap); handles are an improvement over strings; Unexpected upside: When cleaning the house and carrying the bag with me I am now able to hang it conveniently on door knobs, drawers and doors. This makes it easier to place trash inside (the strings were not as strong and required that the bag be placed directly on the floor, which would frequently lead to spilleage). Once again: two thumbs up to the product. But be weary of the price!

> 3 dayThese Glad Handle-Tie Trash Bags are my favorite. They fit great in my trash can and have enough excess at the top to fold over the edges. This excess is what keeps the bag from slipping into the trash can as you start filling it. The handles make it easy to pull the bag out of the trash can and are long enough to knot together to tie the bag shut for carrying to the dumpster. I had been buying these for years at a local store, but can no longer find them. I am very happy to still be able to find them online and dont mind buying 4-pack of 50 to get them.
