Gorilla All Purpose Wood Filler, 16 Ounce Tub, Natural (Pack of 1)

It works well as wood putty goes, but nearly twice as much than preferred brand I was out of. Lower ratings related to cost. Positive note, it wasn’t noticeably different than previous brand used. If you need wood putty for a project, this works ok, but price for quantity isn’t worth it for bigger projects. :(

Not super easy to apply since it is a very gritty paste consistency. It does dry hard though. I had a chunk chip off when sanding which was a bit annoying but just needed second application

Works just like wood, filled the holes fine , and sanded down with little effort

Always trust this brand, so hopefully will hold up on misc wood filling repairs Im doing now.

The putty was a little difficult to work with when using the putty knife so I used my fingers to fill the holes we had all over our walls. It did what I needed it to do and helped hide the holes.

Ive used a lot of wood fillers over the years, and the usual frustrations for me were that I couldnt easily use them to fill deeper holes and indentations except by time-consuming, repeated applications of thin layers. And, thereafter, the cured filler would absorb moisture from primers or paints, causing the sanded-smooth surface to swell up and bulge out slightly. Happily, neither of those issues was a problem with this filler. I used it to fill knot holes in the planks on my old outdoor deck. I found that the deeper holes could be filled with just two (thick) applications, usually 4 hours apart so long as it was warm and dry out. Then, once sanded, Gorillas formulation didnt absorb moisture but remained exactly as I sanded it to be. I ended up needing two tubs, buying the second after how happy I was with the first. This is a new generation of wood filler and a welcome one at that!

it’s a great product but is not that easy to spread, It took me a little to make it right

We ,Ive in an older house and the threshold at the base of the shower is hardwood. Due to softness I used this wood filler with a wood hardener with fantastic results. I was afraid it would set well in a bathroom environment but was pleasantly surprised how it turned out

I dont know what to really say. I mean it works. its a bugger when spreading it. but it works
