Used this for the Christmas lights and it works well with the timer, you can use it connected to the wifi or the Bluetooth. You dont need both for it to work just one. Worked well in the rain.

These plugs are great in that I didnt have to turn the 5ghz wifi band off or anything for them to connect. They did so easily and quickly. Idve given them five stars if they werent so big and bulky.

I replaced six of my generic smart plugs with these. I already have a ton of Govee lights, so I was looking to get rid of one more app to control my smart home things. These were it, and work flawlessly.

For anybody that cares about such things, I checked the power draw on this with it connected to wifi and it draws about 0.6 watts when the relay is off, and about 1.1 watts when the relay is on. This is a fairly small amount of power to be sure, but it is going to cost a couple bucks a year just for it to exist. Not the end of the world, but it could easily be reduced to a small fraction of that for minimal if any increase in price. On the plus side, the outlet is actually switching the hot leg and not the neutral, which is nice.

I had other brand smart plugs which were so difficult to set up. This was the easiest set up ever. Great product. Highly recommend!!
