Great show. Wishing it had a few more seasons. But well done throughout. From beginning to end it is filled with laughs and fun adventures with the Pines twins.

Got this for my kids and they LOVED the show. The copy of the letter made it even more awesome. The box, the cases looking like the journals. They did a great job with this.

I was only introduced to GRAVITY FALLS during the Winter of 2017 by my youngest brother. He showed me the first episode and I was hooked. I’ve watched a lot of tv and animation in my life and GRAVITY FALLS isn’t just one of the best written animated shows of all time, it’s one of the best written television shows of all time. While the episodes are easy and fun to watch, the show is so layered and there is so much going on. Things that happen in the very first episode have ramifications in the very last episode of the series. The characters are so perfectly written that when you finally get around to watching the final scenes of the last episode, you long for more. However, that’s something else that makes GRAVITY FALLS so special. It was a series that had a story to tell and when the story was finished, so was the series. Now, that doesn’t necessarily mean there won’t be more stories to tell. However, the story of Mabel and Dipper Pines and their first summer staying with their Great Uncle Stan (Grunkle Stan) in Oregon is told and finished. If you’ve never seen GRAVITY FALLS, but just enjoy great storytelling and animation, then you should check it out. However, if you are a fan of GRAVITY FALLS at all, you must own GRAVITY FALLS: THE COMPLETE SERIES. Not only does it include an extra disc of special features, such as the very special “One Crazy Summer” which is a detailed Gravity Falls retrospective and all of the Gravity Falls shorts, but every single episode has its own commentary. That’s right: every single episode of the series has a commentary. That’s so rare for any tv series and it just makes the GRAVITY FALLS: THE COMPLETE SERIES even that much more special. Now, enjoy the mysteries and see you next summer.

I love this show, but the real draw was the creator commentary. Getting to dive deeper into the background of the show and production was a treat. Definitely worth buying if you want to get into that deep dive, or just want to have the show handy when evangelizing.

Need cheering up? Need something to make you laugh? Need something that makes you think and has you question the meaning of life, the universe, and reality itself? Then you need this Collectors Edition! I had heard about this series from the web and brought the first volume for my brother a few years ago. The family watched a few episodes and I found myself wanting to know more about it, watch more episodes, and listen to the commentaries. So in the end I bought the Collectors Edition. And I was so happy I did. I love the strange and weird mixed with humor and good characters. Funny enough I was never a big fan of the X-Files (the answer to everything was almost always aliens), never watched Twin Peaks, and never showed any interest in Lost after watching one episode. And as I had been told that Lost was just the television version of the Atlantis series by Greg Donegan I dont plan to. I did like Northern Exposure and was a huge fan of The Illuminatus! Trilogy by Robert Shea and Robert Abton Wilson so maybe that;s why I like Gravity Falls? But whatever the reason I LOVED Gravity Falls. This collection comes with commentary for each episode PLUS an extra DVD with interviews and deleted scenes and shorts and lots of Gravity Falls goodness. And a puppet. We are talking about hours upon hours of fun to enjoy again and again. I dont see myself getting bored with Gravity Falls. Any more than I could get bored of Xena or Jeeves and Wooster! Is it okay for kids? Well, I would say yes. While there is humor for adults much of the comedy is the events and the character interaction with each other and the events. So I would say it is pretty clean. I mean, this IS Disney. While they let them get with a lot they didnt let them go so far as to offend anybody. I think the best part is how each episode has a self-contained story and yet is part of the larger arch of event which guide us to the finally events of the second season. So they make more? Maybe. But I think they have a wonderful story here. A story about family and friendships and siblings. I know they have comics out and there is talk about a movie. And I am all for that. As long as they dont change THIS summer. Its perfect in every way.

Welcome to Gravity Falls ! Twin brother and sister Dipper and Mabel Pines are sent to the small town of Gravity Falls, Oregon to spend their summer vacation with their great uncle ("Grunkle") Stan. Upon arrival, Grunkle Stan enlists the siblings" help in running The Mystery Shack, a self-owned tourist trap that overcharges unsuspecting customers. While Dipper has a hard time getting used to his new surroundings, Mabel"s upbeat optimism comes in handy in her quest to find true love. But there may be more to Gravity Falls than meets the eye as Dipper and Mabel encounter strange occurrences and weird creatures. When Dipper stumbles upon an elusive book, he discovers it is the answer to uncovering the town"s mysterious happenings. Soon, Dipper and Mabel realize they must rely on each other to navigate this unfamiliar place. Meanwhile, Grunkle Stan guards a secret of his own—one that just might hold the key to unlocking the deeper mystery that is Gravity Falls. Includes all 40 episodes!
