Green Tracing Dye - Highly Visible Concentrated Fluorescent Leak Detection Dye - 1 Gallon

I used this product to track down a leak in my lawn sprinkler system and it only took about 10 minutes to track down the problem and replace the broken pipe. I would recommend this product. It did the job and didnt kill any plants or grass.

We actually bought this tracing dye to turn our pond green for St. Patrick’s Day. It worked perfectly, the color lasted a few days and it was great for the occasion.

Easy, found & marked hot tub leak

Used this product for tracing sewers in a network-product performs great. Ordered 1 gallon through Amazon previously, this time I ordered 2 and unfortunately 1 of the caps slightly loosened and began leaking. Each of the gallons were in sealed plastic bags but the one bag was not sealed 100% tight. Caught this before it turned into a disaster as this is basically the stuff they dye the Chicago River with on St Patricks day so potential for huge mess. Suggest redundant bags for preventing leaks and bubble wrap when multiple containers sent in same box.

A little goes a long way, and this stuff does show with UV light as advertised.

Just what I needed .

This product proved conclusively that during a heavy rain water flowing under my land from a road catch basin had long ago found a way out of an apparently broken drain pipe and caused a large cave-in on my driveway. Hole is 40 inches wide and 40 inches deep, and also extends an unknown distance under the asphalt that is still intact. My town cannot dispute the results and will remedy the situation and repair my driveway. The photo shows the green dye just arriving in the big hole several minutes after I poured some into the catch basin on the road during a heavy rain.
