Greenlee 0258-14 POUCH, LEATHER 4 POCKET

My boyfriend loved it as a gift. He works for a residential electrician and said it is perfect just for the basics UP DATAE The side pockets / pouches stretched out since my first review. other than that perfect for residential electrical work.

Love this pouch, Ive worn mine 40 hours a week for the last four and a half years. Retiring the original now and picking up a replacement. I prefer to keep my tape in a shirt pocket and I leave my keys in my pants so Ill be taking a bandsaw to those two accessories, but they work just fine if you want them there. This pouch has really become an extension of me at work, I can retrieve or return any tool without a look or thought. When youre straddling some pipes 10 in the air in a mechanical room, thats a genuine blessing. Not a lot of guys I know use one of these and theyre the same ones always asking to borrow a tool from me in a pinch. Bottom line is if you want a slick tool pouch that carries your essentials and still lets you slip up into a 2x2 ceiling grid this is definitively the right thing for you. Hasnt let me down yet, I imagine Ill be wearing one when I retire one day.

I purchased this for Metal Detecting. I wanted to consolidate all of my most used gear for speeding thru the local parks. The pouch perfectly holds my; Garrett Pro-Pointer, Lesche Digger, Coin Popper (aka a blunted Tekton Gasket Scraper), and Flashlight. I modified the pouch to hold my Lesche by removing the bottom/center pop rivet. This way, the digger fits fully into the pouch, and also helps for the lose dirt to fall out the bottom. I use the tape holder to attach a ziplock bag for trash finds by just punching it thru the baggie. When Im finished hunting, I just toss the baggie into a trash can!

My husband is an electricians helper for a volunteer company and had me purchase this. He said it was the best one they make and all the serious electricians had these. Ill take his word for it :)

I’m an apprentice Electrician and use this everyday on the job site, and everyone asks where I got it. It holds my lineman’s,needle nose, dikes, and depending on the work which ever screw driver I will need. This couple with my backpack and I am set. My only complaint is that I can’t take it off easily as I slide it through my pants belt. This with a clip like some gun holsters use.

Perfect size and quality if you just want to carry a few tools on, not the whole bag.

Will buy over and over! Best electricians pouch!

this is my second greenlee pouch. it is perfect for my application, as i only need to carry basic hand tools. it is light weight and made of durable leather. the tape chain is very helpful and keeps it handy. my only issue is that the belt cut out leaves very little leather on the outer edges and the top portion of the belt cut out. after prolonged use and sliding of the pouch along the belt itself, the belt tends to cut through the leather causing it to weaken or eventually cut right thru. maybe greenlee could have considered a plastic or metal grommet in that belt cut out to make it more durable. all in all it is a good product for the price.
