I have had a globe light out in this bathroom for a while but I have been holding off on replacing because I didnt want another incandescent bulb but was afraid I would have non-matching lights if I didnt and I remember just getting the 6 bulbs in this vanity being 40-50 for the set so I was assuming even more than that for LED. To my surprise I was expecting the LED to possibly have an off color but it actually had a more natural look than the original lights (the originals looked more yellow but it wasnt noticeable in a picture unfortunately) and with the cost of this set of 8 I immediately just replaced them all. This has always been a very bright vanity but with these bulbs it feels like a more natural light and not as sharp on the eyes when you turn them on. The plastic globes caught me off guard and I was concerned at first but I was wrong. They dont look plastic, they just look like white globe lights when turned off so there is nothing cheap looking about them and now I have lights that dont get hot and should something happen I dont have to worry about broken glass in the bathroom so it is a win win solution. If these last over a year (as long as they are not complete junk on the inside they should last well over 5 years) I will be good with it.

These bulbs are great. The light output is identical to the halogen bulbs these are replacing. The color temperature is correct too. A nice warm glow. Not sure about how long they last yet, as theyre supposed to go for many years. I can tell these are more efficient as they dont get nearly as hot as the old bulbs. Very pleased with this purchase.

A significant improvement in my bathroom. Ill monitor my energy bill to see whether there has been a change. Ill keep an eye on how long these lights last.

Very bright long lasting, and a good price

I am so happy to have found these light bulbs, they were just what I was looking for, The light is nice and crisp but too bright and they are just the size I needed for my bathroom. I love that they are LED so they are much more efficient than regular incandescent bulbs but pretty much look the same. I also love that these are a set of 8 so should last me a long time since I only need 3 at at time.

These bulbs are nice and bright. They arrived in nice packaging. I changed the bulbs in our bathroom vanity with these bulbs. Highly recommend.

USAGE: I needed bathroom vanity globe bulbs to replace expensive conventional-filament glass bulbs. My bulbs were mismatched and some had burnt out. These globes fixed these issues for me. LIKES: - They are surprisingly bright! Especially for only 5 watts. - The color is a harsh bright white. 6000 Kelvin is a very bright white color, more closely matching a sunny day outside. The reason I like this is because I pair one of these 6K bulbs with two 3K bulbs, giving me the perfect mix of brightness in a bathroom, but with a bit of realism as to what items reflected in the mirror will look like outside. - They are shiny enough to not realize they are plastic without close inspection. A nice touch. - These bulbs are plastic, so they will not break and shatter glass everywhere should I drop one while installing or removing one. - I got a 4 pack! Bulbs are better in packs. I always need another bulb. DISLIKES: - Because my use of these bulbs is very limited, I have no idea how long they will last. All I can do is update this review when any in my set goes bad. - Glass is prettier than plastic. These are plastic. THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW: Dont get too hung up on matching LED wattage to conventional-filament glass bulb wattage. This is only an approximate comparison, and because LED bulbs are actually electronic devices with circuits inside, the actual light output will vary from bulb to bulb and amongst manufacturers. LED bulb longevity is hit and miss. The claims of lasting many years is just a marketing gimmick. Because LED bulbs have internal electronics, they can break down at any time, just like any other electronic device. I have had LEDs last from a few days to a few years. Never beyond a decade though, regardless of claims or warranties. Because LED bulbs are prone to stop working, just like any electronic device, forget the marketing hype. I suggest looking for a good price point and take your chances. If you are lucky enough to have the bulb outlast the warranty period, great. If not, ask yourself if you will really go through the hassle of using that warranty, or simply buy some more and toss the bad. At the time of my review, these LED bulbs are priced quite nicely, which makes them a great choice. UPDATES: None at this time. I will update this review with any changes or important additions should any arise.

My wife would not even let me turn on the overhanging lights in our kitchen. She said they made her too hot. She also said there wasnt enough light in the kitchen, but thats another story. Well, these Hansang cool white G25 (regular socket) LED bulbs solved both problems. They have made the kitchen brighter, and they give off little, if any, heat. She has seen the light. Peace, love, and harmony has returned to our kitchen. Great for bathrooms, too.
