Plenty of space in the main pocket. I used it for traveling and it was the perfect size for a carry on. Now I use it for work and it works perfect.

I bought this backpack for travel. After an hour or more of looking, I chose the Hap Tim because it seemed to have the roomiest interior for packing extra clothing and shoes. It came today and it didnt disappoint. Besides the open center area, there are several other zipper compartments, and many pockets to keep things organized. I wont be taking my 17 iPad this trip, but it will fit nicely for another trip. At this point, I cant attest to durability or how waterproof the backpack may be, but it seems well made and I think it could shed at least some rain.

Love the backpack itself for hauling my laptop and gym clothes around campus. It’s sharp-looking, but the green is most definitely gray- FYI. I would still recommend.

Great backpack. Lots of smart storage, stands up nicely on its own, seems durable, easy to to fasten onto other luggage. It is a little heavy on its own though. Small thing, but if you need things to be as light as possible, that is something to consider.

I love how it opens up wide for easy access.

Ive learned over the years that long-distance air travel usually results in extremely sore neck and shoulder muscles for me-- all due to my choice of a roomy but heavy over-the-shoulder carry-on bag. I decided before my last trip to purchase a backpack and looked long and hard for one that was roomy enough to carry a laptop, iPad, carry-on toiletries, lunch, water bottle, sunglasses, prescription glasses, basically all of the things I didnt want to store in my luggage. This backpack fit the bill almost perfectly -- almost! For me, I like to keep my wallet and phone in a secure zipped pocket and the lack of one in this backpack is definitely a drawback. The large compartment is awesome -- has a nice padded pocket for my laptop and a smaller one for my iPad. The smaller zipper compartment on top however opens too wide and thus doesnt feel secure enough to hold valuables. There is a small zipped pocket on the outside but its not large enough for a wallet..possibly large enough for a phone. The mesh pockets in the bottom zippered compartment are fine for things I dont mind losing like pens and cheap sunglasses. An interior zippered pocket thats wide and deep enough for a wallet and phone would make this backpack a 10/10. Since it lacks such a pocket, Id give it a 9/10.

Im impressed with the great quality of this backpack and the space it has! It is extremely useful with all of the extra zippers and its a very nice backpack.
