Herschel Sutton Duffel Bag

Herschel bags are trendy and comfortable, but this Sutton duffel has its problems. The strap clasps are make an irritating squeaking sound due to friction and because there is no internal base or structural liner, it doesnt really retain its barrel shape too well. I replaced the strap with an old one of mine and it reduced the noise I guess. I made a DIY base and face liner, but it would be nice to have internal formers incorporated in the future for these duffels.

Great quality! All all other Herschel products this bag is ver nice and I get compliments on it all the time. It works very well as an overnight bag as it is not a big duffle bag. It does get dirty fairly easily but it should be expected as it is white. I bought the matching backpack as well.

I bought this “used - very good” condition, which is described as “small cosmetic imperfection on top/side/or bottom of item”. This description was a bit over zealous, as the product came with no shoulder strap, with one of the clips that would hold the strap (if it was included) completely gone. The only part left was part of the fabric hanging literally by a thread. The bag also came with a 2 inch stain on the top. I also got some free gum wrappers left in the front pocket as an added bonus. The bag itself is nice, however while I recognize I bought it used I was under the impression it would be in “very good” shape. I’m honestly surprised this item was offered to be resold.

So much room without being too big.

Fits nice and snug in those little McDouglas tiny airplanes with the tiny tiny overhead bins.

Got this sent it France - Amazon charged me for the anticipated customs taxes and reimbursed me some of it afterwards! Very good. Bag itself lacks a zip on the front packet though.

This is a good bag, but it’s much smaller than I expected. I wanted it for weekend trips and it works but it’s tight. This would be a really good gym bag though!
