We have over 20 books in the cat basket, some really oversized and odd shaped childrens books and the basket width is still prefect to hold them for my littles reading corner. I love the woven detail and the cat ears that could be used as handles for little hands to move around easily. These baskets would be look really cute in those large Ikea book cases.

> 3 dayI love love love this rope basket for my daughters laundry needs. Shes only 1 so it doesnt get too full too fast, but its perfect for us. Some complained that the handles are offset - its true, they are toward the front. But if you do laundry often enough, and arent trying to fill it to the brim it carries just fine. My kiddo plays on it and it does fold, so its not rigid by any means, but it un-folds easily and mostly holds its shape after a while. The bottom is ovular, not round, so dont expect it to be circular even after it relaxed.

Greater than one weekRead reviews that said there were problems with basket keeping a round shape or that the ears were bent. I didnt have these problems. Manually manipulated into round shape and ears stood straight up. Wouldnt be an appropriate laundry basket but will be great for cat toys. Right now, cats are just enjoying playing in it.
