I want to first acknowledge a source of potential bias: the little HNXTYAOB flyer bundled with the mat that states that out happiness is the reason for their employees EXISTENCE. Yes, I absolutely feel the weight of responsibility that that kind of devotion to anonymous patrons rightly elicits. No, I do not allow the fact that the mental and emotional health of countless people rests on this review to compromise my objectivity and integrity. Fortunately, HNXTYAOB doesnt need me to lie. Their product is every bit fantastic. Snaps at the corners to allow it to transition from a shallow floppy bucket to a tiny tarp? Genius. Creating the whole thing from a material thats simply impermeable to water? Inspired. Making the whole thing green like plants? Utter brilliance. Plants, like humans, grow. We eventually push the bounds of those walls - both physical and metaphorical - that constrain us, and only through the expansion of our environments can we continue to flourish. In short, if you dont buy this repotting mat, its because you desire a codependent relationship with your plants, and are willing to sacrifice their fulfillment for your dysfunctional need for security, and youre probably a bad person.

Mine arrived soaking wet, with some kind of mystery soap all over it, which was a little disturbing. But this works great for repotting house plants, or even bringing them in during storms - you can just set it on the ground and set them inside it. It’s easy to snap up and contain dirt and water, and just as easy to clean up, fold and pack away.

Gardening is messy. Thats what makes it fun. This mat took almost 30 days to get to me, but when it did I already had use for it. I generally repot outdoors, BUT, its nice to have the option to do it on the kitchen table or counters. The issue is that dirt gets everywhere. I like this tray as its a good size, its flexible and really makes it easy to clean up. I actually have 2 of these now because I can do more. For instance, this one is for working/transferring plants, and the other I can place the pre or finished products in. I like that you can make a mess and its contained pretty easily. Its a simple idea, and sure you could use an old towel or news paper, but this is easy and reusable and stores easily. I do not think anything I am doing would ever rip it. The folded edge is high enough to not get in the way, but contain any spills. Including water. Yes the buttons are brass, but plastic or brass doesnt really matter in my opinion. Perhaps the plastic ones will not last as long. Overall, this would make a great gift for someone that gardens if they do not have one. Its fairly inexpensive and functional. This makes clean up quick. Take it outside and shake it off! Or water. Id buy again if needed.

My wife loves plants. She also likes making a mess. She does her dirty work on our deck, always making a mess and sometimes leaving stains. Then, I get angry. A fight usually follows. This is exactly what we needed. The dirt can be contained and controlled. Dirt no longer is an issue in our marriage.

The material is heavy enough to be useful and light enough to be moved around easily. It arrives as one flat piece and the corners snap together to form a box. Great idea. It will be easy to unsnap the corners and wash it off flat and/or fold for storage. All in all a great product and a great idea.

Enjoyed using my new purchase to repot a few small indoor plants. Great design with snaps! Placed on kitchen island so comfortable height. In cool of my home instead of garage or outside. Large enough size to fit all I needed. Lightweight to gather up and dump spilled potting mix out the back door into the garden. Wiped clean. Folded up. CONVENIENT!….stored product in house for next repotting session.

This took awhile to get her but I really like it. Many will like this to use inside for reporting plants. It covers the counter great and makes cleanup a breeze. I will be using in my greenhouse in my potting area so I can save all soil. I have a grated work area and without this everything falls thru the rungs and into my bins below. Now I have a cover for the rungs and all my soil, fertilizer etc will be captured and kept rather then lost. I can also see me using this when I need to pick out my seedlings. I can bring them inside and sit more comfortably while putting new seedlings into bigger pots. Great deal.

The HNXTYAOB Large Repotting Mat is plenty large for use indoors and very easy to set up. Unfold and snap the corners together, and includes written directions and a link to a video, should you need it, but you wont. The material kept moist soil and other debris contained and did not leak any moisture thru. I wouldnt trust it to hold pooled water, but it might. Using the mat was simple and the large size keep everything contained with a lot of fuss. Cleanup is just as easy, I just rolled it up and took it outside, shook it off, rinsed, waited for it to dry and folded it back up. Very easy, very clean, I found it rather useful.

I picked this up for our second round of seed starting for our garden beds this spring. This mat has been a headache eliminator with setting up seed trays and dirt small spills add up and this thing keeps them in line and off the floor/deck outside. My only complaint is the location of the snaps; if you need to readjust when you have a tray or a bag of soil on it, the snaps come undone rather easy, but that also may be a good thing for those of us who have mild arthritis. I highly recommend this to keep your seeding and repotting area much more tidy when doing garden work.
