> 3 dayWas a great upgrade from the 1.0 stations! Has helped tremendously with fully body 360 tracking.

15-06-2025Well, you get a tracker... Thats it, no base stand nor the original charge cable. Just a short charge cable. Feeling kind of ripped off with the base stand not being included.

Greater than one weekWorks with valve index as intended. Excellent quality and I dont know what people are saying about these base stations making whining noises, this was quiet as could be.

Greater than one weekThe base station itself is the exact same as the ones sold by Valve. That is not my issue. My issue is these are $50+ more expensive than the base stations sold by Valve on Steam. That wouldnt be that big of a deal if these base stations from HTC didnt also come with objectively worse accessories. Mounting hardware: Haha get screwed. You thought your $200 base stations would come with mounting hardware just like the $50 cheaper ones from Valve? Power cable: Not only is the cable that comes with these base stations sold by HTC significantly shorter than the ones sold by Valve, but it is also stiffer and does not hang nicely straight down the wall. The power brick is also much larger than the one Valve gives you. Overall: DO NOT BUY unless you absolutely cannot wait to get them from Valve. You will need to buy mounting hardware and have to deal with a shorter/uglier cable.

> 3 dayIt was a choice between getting it here for $200 or from valve for $150 + weeks waiting. It just comes down to how much you value your time but its the exact same thing.

> 3 dayI wanted to buy two base stations for my VR setup in June but Valve was out of stock at the time. Amazon came through with these. If you set them up properly for standing or room experience, they work great. Key point, dont leave them on all the time. The lasers inside spin at extremely fast RPM and you will wear out the base stations over time. Thats very important. With bluetooth this is easy, but wired, you have to manually unplug the power to the base stations. I left mine on for two months and I felt like a complete imbecile. Thankfully, I only play VR games infrequently because Im busy. They still work fine, but Ill be monitoring them over time for stability and performance issues.
