> 3 dayThis is a nice little record weight. Its3hard to tell from the photos, but it does have 2 finger slots, not just one. It fits nicely in the spindle and is not so heavy I worry about the plinth bottoming out. The chrome is nice, the box it came in would do for storage. The original box was a pain for me to open, so I picked up a nice box to keep on the shelf next to my turntable and it firts perfectly. This isba great addition and my older non 180 gram records seem to sound better.

> 3 dayThis was a little to tall to work while the dust cover was down, However it was close enough to almost close so there was not a noticeable difference in look. Did not help with warps but held my more slippery records down well. The weight was fine not slowing my intro turntable too much but a very slight noticeable slowdown. I use this enough to say it was worth the price at least. 3.5 stars if I could.

> 3 dayI had never bought a record weight so I was kinda jumping in blindly to it but this one hit the nail! It fits my record player perfectly and even tho it’s not TOO heavy, it definitely helps a lot on the slight bend some of my records have. I will look into buying maybe the more heavier version for myself in the future just cause I think it’s better to have both options in case you need them, especially as someone who’s starting to grow their vinyl collection.

Greater than one weekEasy to handle with the finger holds. Good value. 50 year old albums sound excellent.

12-06-2025Even if this record weight cannot completely overcome/control badly warped vinyl records, it apparently works fine as a semi-stabilizer. The chrome one I ordered is quite beautiful and heavy enough for my direct drive turntable (Denon DP-52F). Furthermore, its short height would not touch the closed dust-cover. Finally, the quality of packaging indicates the high quality of the product (it is designed and developed in NYC, yet is made in China). P.S. Incidentally it might work as a thermometer! because its from touching it that I noticed for the first time that the turntable motor has got too hot!! Just in case... :)

> 3 daySuperb craftsmanship and overall a quality product. A must have for Audiophiles of all spectrums. You need this if you want to get the best out of your vinyl records, especially if you are going to listen to your collection from the 1990s, which no doubt are slightly warped due to age and storage. This handy device works hard to put the vinyl into a playable position, The weight will slowly de-warp your albums, leaving you with a superb and higher quality listening experience!
