I Am Elle: A Psychological Thriller

Unfortunately, the ending was too predictable. I had it figured out about halfway through. Author did a good job of revealing it, however. There were several typos that a good editor would have found. I DO want to read the promised sequel, which the book says should be out already, but doesnt appear to be. I hope that means it will be soon!

This was a difficult book for me to get through, not because it wasn’t good...it’s because it was. I put it down and back up several times in the beginning, the story content taking me to a place I wasn’t willing to go. A personal place, that reaches deep down in my soul and heart. I don’t do well with child abuse of any kind, even if it’s not graphic….thank goodness for that...I’d be having nightmares for weeks. This is definitely one of my favorite authors and she writes powerful books, but sometimes I have to have the right mindset to go into her world. This book will leave you raw, heart wrenching and needing some damn coddling….or wine. And because it’s like a train wreck...I already read the 2nd book. Please note, this book is not to be taken lightly, and this review is not to be taken lightly. This book had more triggers than a gun shop, yup it’s exactly like that.

OMG this book was FANTASTIC and kept me reading until I finished!!! As I read this book: every page kept me in suspense.. Trying to fine out who was killing all of these people!!! I cant wait to read the next one in the series..

The book was alright. Definitely didnt see that ending coming. Now I have to read the next book just to see what happens next.

I loved this book! Ditter Kellen is a great story teller when it comes to telling a psychological thriller. I loved the twist at the end! Not what I was expecting.

As the description states, this is not a happily ever after type of story. Its dark, twisted, and pushes the boundaries of morality. Elle has been through more than any person should ever have to face in her short life. It forces her to find ways to cope with the abuse that she faces. Overall, the story was filled with tense and suspenseful moments that you expect when reading a Psychological Thriller. I figured out the person they were searching for pretty quickly. The pieces, for me, fell in line early on in the story. The story, for me, also ended a little abruptly. While it had a slight twist at the end, I feel like there is still more of Elles story to be told. If Psychological Thrillers are your genre of choice, then this story will be a good book to read.

Stayed up all night last night to finish the trilogy. Literally could not put it down.
