Hight quality bit of kit. Far superior to the plastic ones and worth the extra money

This thing feels bombproof, maybe because it weighs a LOT. Unfortunately, that weight puts a lot of strain on the other components in your mounting system, which can make things droop or sag -- especially when hitting bumps.

The title say it all, this is as good as the RAM Mounts parts that I have and is interchangeable with them at a fraction of the price. Hard to beat.

I use Ram Mounts in my Freightliner to keep my phone, tablet and GPS safe. 5his extension replaced a shorted one from Ram and works perfectly. It cost less, and is indistinguishable from original. Five stars!

Does as needed. Be aware that adding this length will decrease the rigidity, depending on mount. This is not anything against this particular piece, just nature of the beast. I needed this length for a cup holder mount (didnt want to drill dash, so some loss in rigidity was acceptable) from my console for a tablet to clear the dash. Would recommend.

It does what its supposed to do but its a bit of a pain getting it opened and closed. It doesnt operate like a normal Ram extension mount, you have to basically open the whole thing to get it attached. Once its attached, it works fine though. Ill be using it on track this weekend so well see how it holds up.

It works with the Ram system B mounts. It is well made and heavy duty.

Tightens up easily and stays tight
