For 40 bucks most toolkits come magnetized including the extensions, but for some reason iFixit opted to not to magnetize the extension.

All Im going to say is that if you use these kinds of tool regularly then purchasing an iFixit kit is an absolute no brainer. Quality that will last for years to come. So while you spend a more upfront, I think youll save more in the long run. If you use tools like this once a year then maybe look at the cheaper ones or get this and it will last long enough to pass down to your grandchildren children.

Bought this kit to fix my child’s broken Nintendo Switch controller with its tri-wing screws. Amazing, just the job. Everything you need to open small electronic items. All components are very well built and feel strong. Would definitely recommend.
