Works like it’s supposed to, but with the new adaptor, it doesn’t fit in any protective outlet cover boxes. The prongs are over too far, making it too wide to cover safely. Kind of paramount for a child monitor. We are currently not using this monitor because I can’t safely protect it from my toddler. Monitor itself is ok quality/picture.

Perfect product to have an extra power cord for the camera part of the monitor! No issues after 4 months of use.

Our old Infant Optics DXR-8 camera cord was starting to emit a questionable buzzing sound at the plug end when plugged into the wall. It was probably 6 years old. Hope this one lasts!

We ordered this second cable for our monitor to allow us to take the monitor on the go without having to undo the wire we have at home (we ran the cable through some wire molding so it is difficult to remove). Overall this second cable works great and is exactly what we needed! Definitely would recommend as an easy and cheap option to take your monitor on trips.

Worked exactly like it should for my Infant optics camera. My original cord was snapped in half and this replacement came quickly and worked just like the first!

Works great! I move our DXR-8 monitor into a different room during the day and dont have to move the power cord now that I have an extra cord. Perfect!

Power adapter adds convenience to move camera to another area or take with you when visiting someone elses house.

The product itself works as it should, however the actual box it comes (inside Amazon shipment bag) in was ripped on bottom and the tape had been opened and closed several times. I assume they ordered the wrong cord. We needed the extra cord for traveling since the one we use on a daily basis had to be taped to the wall behind the crib. Absolutely love the baby monitor and have used it for 2 years now with no issues.
