> 24 hourWhen it works properly on fabric/vinyl, it is great and you can punch a bunch of holes. Most of the time, it doesnt completely punch the hole and cleaning out the tip doesnt usually help. It is like the metal parts arent fitting completely and it grinds when you punch. Makes it hard work.

> 24 hourI have used this several times. It seems to be low quality as a metal ring is coming off the wood. I can glue it back, so no problem. It probably is a good one to start with if you want to save money and it works.

> 24 hourThis product doesnt really work well at all. The punch will only go half way down at most. Its like it is caught on something or the spring is too tight. Im not exactly sure what the issue is, but it will not work on even very thin chipboard without having to push on it 3-4 times.

> 24 hourItem is not made in Japan, does not hold bits in place sturdily, rips through paper worse than my awl, and was generally not worth the cost. Do your research and find a screw punch manufactured in Japan for the quality youre looking for.

> 24 hourI thought this was like a grommet cutter that you tapped to work. Its not. It has a ratcheting mechanism so it spins. Very clever and very sharp. I took a star because on mine, the metal cap isnt attached. Ill have to glue it.

> 24 hourThis is perfect for popping holes in leather/cork/vinyl without needing a hammer. I love it! On mine the metal collar closest to the wood handle doesn’t stay in place. I might just be able to remove it and it would work ok, but haven’t tried yet. It’s a great tool though.

> 24 hourThis was the perfect option for different sized holes that I needed for a card stock lacing activity. When it worked properly, it was great. Unfortunately, the paper holes get jammed up in the tip and you have to stop, take off the tip and stick a small screwdriver into the tip and exert a great deal of force to push out the paper hole pieces. It’s hard on the joints and wasn’t efficient for me.
