Is what it is

I used this wire for the speakers on the boat. It delivers clear crisp and loud sounds to the speakers. Since the wire is under the deck, I do not have to worry about it corroding.

Great wire for boat sound system install. I used to wire up 4 kicker 8” and 4 6.5” speakers. Well made product.

When separating the 2 wire pair the conductor was exposed where they had been joined. i.e. the insulation split open allowing the conductor to be visible - see 2nd picture for a close up.

Standard wire like cheap extension cord. Non abrasive resistance.

It is tinned copper so I do not have to worry about oxidation. It has a good stand count and I feel it is worth the money. Insulation is good and you know the polarization is marked on one side so no chances of wiring out of phase. I was pleased.
